The point of this PC was to be a huge focus on value, not spending any money on anything unnecessary but still looking clean and with some RGB. Performance is great at 1080p and even 1440p as the RTX 3060 is still a great card for most games. The white Powerspec power supply with white cable sleeves really completes this PC as only the GPU and motherboard stand out as not matching the colour scheme.$675.93 -

I built this computer strictly to run Stable Diffusion and to learn about machine learning. The tower cooler barely fits into the case, but it all works. Originally, I ziptied a stock AMD cooler to the motherboard because I didn't have a backplate. I still don't have a backplate, but I mounted the tower cooler with a combination of old AMD and Intel mounting hardware.$695.94 -

Light weight gamer build and daily use for general use build I had a older build from 2016 (i7-5820k, GTX970, 16gb, H110i and some other goodies) It served me well. time for an upgrade! I know this is not a piece of art but i love the case CORSAIR Carbide 330R Titanium Edition i got back then. I kept the soundblaster Z, case, a few SSD's but ended up upgrading and replacing everything else. I sold the old hardware including the old mouse and keyboard for $400 so my total build is like $600. Smoking fast for my 144hz 32" at 1440p. If i had 4k... id go with more GPU but this thing ranks very well on benchmarks and games on full or very high settings on all games including RRD and COD;MW at over 60fps$1,035.85 -

The aim of this build was a white, upper mid-tier gaming machine with a smaller footprint with a price point under $1500. This was my first time working with the Micro ATX format, I'm happy to be able to start building smaller, lighter machines. The Jonsbo case worked quite well and was overall pretty easy to work with and had plenty of room for everything (the GPU and 140mm bottom mounted case fans were the most difficult parts). The wiring is a bit of a mess, but it's mostly hidden behind the SSD panel. The look could be improved a bit with white power supply cables and perhaps some better finagling of the GPU power connector, but it's fine for us as is.$1,524.92 -

Bought and built this to primarily play games and to finally have a machine that can handle all current gen title games at 1080p. Games like Apex Legends and Halo Infinite all hold a framerate well above 144hz at the highest graphic settings with no problems as well as keeping cool. This computer also allowed me to be able to record my gameplay in high quality using OBS thanks to NVIDIA'S nvenc encoder in part to the 3060 RTX. Video editing programs such as adobe premiere also run well to edit footage together to create youtube compilations of the many games I play. Eventually upgraded the storage on the computer with SSD drives which was easy due to the microATX motherboard being in a ATX size case for ease of building as well as the case having drivebays on the back panel of the computer.$1,137.92 -

I have always added and replaced parts depending on my budget. I am a student, and I have saved up for years for its upgrades with the part-time jobs I have done. It all started with an i3-4130 and 4GB DDR3 ram back in 2013. In January 2016, replaced the processor with i5-6600K and a 4 GB DDR4 ram. I could not afford an unlocked Z170 board, so I opted for an H110 motherboard. Next year, in 2016 February, I got a used GTX 950, my first even GPU. I also added another 4 GB DDR4 stick. A few months later I exchanged the H110 board with a Z170 board from someone who had a locked processor. I had a blast for 2 years with my i5-6600K, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and GTX950 2GB. It was again in January 2018 when I saved up enough money to upgrade my RAM to 16 GB and add a used GTX1060 6GB. I sold out my old rams and GPU to fund my purchase. In late 2018, my PSU fried and I replaced it with a used CM 550 Gold. I also changed my casing to MasterBox Q300L to a more sleeper look. I never owned any RGB fans as I never could spend the extra bucks on something only for aesthetics. Now comes how the current build got into shape. I added an extra stick of 8GB DDR4 ram in Jan 2020. In Jan 2021, I put my name on the EVGA waiting list for an RTX 3060. I was finally invited to purchase the GPU in November 2021. By that time, I saved up enough to buy it new for 446 bucks. I put my GTX 1060 6GB Gigabyte Extreme gaming on Facebook marketplace and it got sold quickly. I put that money and an extra 100 bucks to get the Ryzen 5 5600x and the cheapest motherboard I could pair it with just 12 days ago from microcenter. So, now my rig looks like this. CPU and Motherboard: Ryzen 5 5600x and Asrock B550M Pro (Bought 2 weeks ago) GPU: EVGA RTX 3060 (Bought in November 2021) RAM: G Skill 16 GB 2400 MHz (8x2) DDR4 (One stick bought in Jan 2018, another in Jan 2020) PSU: Cooler Master v550 Gold (Bought in Late 2018) Case: CM MasterBox Q300L (Bought in Late 2018) HDD: WD Blue 1 TB (One of the original components since 2013) SSD: Transcend 240 GB PCIE x4 (Bought used sometime between Jan 18-Jan 20) My target is to upgrade the rams to higher clock speed. I use this PC mainly for my education, running different analysis software and some occasional gaming. I have played the whole Assassin's Creed, GTA and Witcher series on it. Right now, I am re-playing RDR2. I don't play competitive games or shooters.$1,032.93 -

As an undergraduate data scientist who has hobbies in making videos, 3d modelling, and some occasional light gaming I wanted an upgrade from my 2015 machine that would give me enough power to support my everyday workflows and interests. When the 3060 came out it was the perfect time to upgrade for me and I am very satisfied with the kind of performance I get out of this build every day.$1,121.96 -

Bought the Asus ROG R7 RTX 3060 Prebuilt from Walmart for a good price and swapped the Mobo/GPU/CPU into a Be Quiet! Pure Base 500DX in order to improve thermals/airflow. Originally planned to replace Mobo and transfer most of this into a mini-itx case but changed my mind after finding a good deal for the Be Quiet! case. Replaced the RAM and PSU. Added additional SSD storage and AIO cooler for CPU. This setup has been perfect for gaming on Ultra settings @ 1080p/1440p. The GPU is a single fan Asus Phoenix RTX 3060 and temp never goes above 70F. I plan to replace the AIO cooler fans as those seem to be the loudest in my case. Also plan to replace the Asus B550M-K mobo with a full ATX Mobo so I can add an internal sound card. Other than that this setup has been perfect.$1,339.94
