I wanted a PC to play all of my favorite games at max settings at 1080p. I picked out the pink case first and then decided on the best parts that fit budget while maximizing performance. I enjoy that these parts allow me to do ray-tracing and high detail in single-player games, or 144fps in multiplayer games.$1,170.89 -

At only 13 liters volume, the Jonsbo N1 case is a solid 2.5 mm aluminum alloy shell on top a 1.0 mm thick steel frameset with 2.0 mm structual beams. The heafty 8.36 LB metal data vault fits a Mini-ITX board, an SFX PSU, and five 3.5-in. SATA/SAS hard drives. Easy 100+ TB NAS and/or Proxmox VE in a compact 8.5-in. x 6.5-in. vertical footprint. My home office now runs on this one combined Proxmox NAS. It sports a Ryzen 5700G processor and a 4-drive ZFS RAID-Z1 array. Enough compute to provide basic services to a small network. The N1 with just one fan gets warm, so I'd recommend remove or change out the front panel for better airflow. In the future, I may populate its one PCIe expansion slot with a PCIe to 4x M.2 card, then add on a M.2 to 5-SATA card to use all five drive bays, add an M.2 2.5GbE card, (or 10GbE), and add extra M.2 NVMe drives.$1,144.98 -

A simple seamless NZXT case with a see through side panel shows off the simplistic inner workings of this build. With RGB ram and RGB heat sink, this build will let the user enjoy any entry level or mid level game without crashing or freezing. With the OS installed to the SSD for a speedy startup and a seagate harddrive for everything else this customer will never have to worry about missing a battle online because his computer did not boot up fast enough, or worry that his system will not be able to handle high end games when he gets to that point because he has 16 gbs of ram to support that SSD and AMD Ryzen CPU.$1,128.90 -

The purpose of this build is to optimize performance for VR gaming such as having excess VRAM for Oculus Link and Virtual Desktop Streaming for wireless PC VR gaming. I have intentionally cheaped out on all other components, so upgrade each component as best fits your needs. You can build an amazing VR gaming PC for under $1K, but you have to make sacrifices along the way.$975.95
