General Purpose Workhorse General Purpose Workhorse

I built this PC for general purpose usage (web browsing, image editing, software development, maybe some light gaming, etc). I'm pretty happy with it overall. My only complaint might be that I can hear the fans quietly whirring when the room is quiet, but I suppose that's to be expected with a mesh case, and it's not really an issue. I will probably add a couple of HDDs from my old computer for additional storage, but the 1TB SSD is plenty of space and super fast. If I decide to get into PC gaming in the future, I will upgrade the graphics card when prices come down; but the T600 seems more than adequate for general usage.$939.93 -

I do a lot of music production using Pro Tools, Ableton, FL Studio, Reason Studio, and Video in Premiere Pro. This has turned out to be a great combination of parts. The CPU is running at about 4.8Hz without overclocking. I am running my programs off the SSD drive and content from the NVMe. I compromised on the video card because I am not gaming... doesn't matter... this card is running without any glitches and my monitor is crisper than it was before. I would like to add a 2Tb NVMe for all my sample content. ( I can only add run some of it on the 1Tb)$1,184.89 -

The build is complete, but as times passes, I will add some nice power cable extensions and replace all case fans with white ARGB ones. I'm don't care much for RGB as thing, but I do see its merits as I prefer having ambient light around.$1,811.00 -

I choose the 5800 X3D and 7900 XTX because it's blazing fast for games at 4K resolution. I currently can play any game at the highest settings which buttery smooth frames rates at 4K. It blows my mind how beautiful games have such high graphic fidelity with games like Resident Evil 4 remake, God of War, Hogwarts Legacy and Street Fighter 4 .$1,859.90 -

I was an Nvidia stan for the longest time, but the price/performance of the 40 series is awful right now so I jumped ship for the first time, and I couldn't be happier! I originally went for the 7900 xt, but Microcenter bumped up to the 7900 xtx for FREE because of a stock issue. 750$ for the best card radeon makes will be a core memory for life. Not to mention the 399$ 7700x cpu/mobo/ram bundle. GPU, CPU, Mobo, RAM, SSD, Case, & an AIO All in all for around 1600$ (the price of a 4090 XD). Now I can spend the saving on a custom keyboard and a more expensive monitor.$1,869.93 -

Never built a system before so was excited to put something together with a top of the line GPU and CPU combo. All items were purchased within around a week, taking advantage of some online Black Friday sales This system is primarily for gaming, and some video editing, I've paired it with a LG 32GP750 1440p 165Hz monitor, I also have it hooked up to a 55" Sony X90k to run 4k 120Hz. No complaints putting everything together, the popular Corsair 4000D was super easy for install and had more than ample room for the huge 7900XTX, also no crazy RGB here, just simple and neat. Temps have been good so far, the Peerless Assassin cooler is plenty, I have yet to see temps run past about 70c with gaming use. There's definitely coil whine coming from the GPU during intensive gameplay, can be annoying but not a huge deal when you have your volume up or headphones in.$2,027.92 -

Saw the Fractal Torrent and knew I had to build something with it. I think it came out very nice! I definitely need to get some white PSU cables to match the aesthetic overall. In hindsight, I should have maybe went for the standard Noctua heatsink, as the chrome fins would have matched the chrome from the PowerColor 7900XTX. Still very pleased!$2,029.93
