My daughter wanted a better computer and since she helps me upgrade mine from time to time she wanted to build her own. We told her if she could keep it around 500.00 budget we'd help her, so we scoured forums and youtube videos for less expensive builds. We found Toasty Bros there, and they in turn directed us to microcenter where we found a very nice cpu/motherboard/ram combo. with the combo and new case we came in around $570. She got her wish and I got a great father-daughter moment to cherish the rest of my life. :D$574.95 -

I love that I can play games at resolutions and frame rates greater than on console. Sure, that comes at a cost but that's just part of PC gaming. I also use my PC for much more than gaming, those high end specs go to other uses like video/photo editing, software development, running VMs and other work related tasks.$1,144.95 -

The reason I built this computer is because I wanted my brother needed one, and I wanted to make sure the components were as efficient as possible in order for the computer to last multiple years without upgrades. I used a B660m max mortar with a 12400 to BCLK overclock the cpu to a stable, but way better cpu. The 4070 is one of the best value buys for the 40 series, and should last a long time. Lastly, the ram is CL18 3600mhz; kinda slow, but it’ll get the job done. The game he mostly plays is League of Legends, which this build is way overkill for, but if he decides he wants to play more intense games, this build be able to handle anything at 1440p.$1,320.83 -

I didn't have much budget for this build, so I allocated a large portion of it to GPU. I decided on a 4070 in the end. I am aiming for 1440p 120 fps gaming, so this is perfect GPU for that. For CPU, I got an i5-12600K with 10 cores built-in, which is enough for most games out on the market. After testing this build on a couple of games, it has only exceeded my expectations. It runs super cool and quiet.$1,367.95 -

My old pc served me well for 7 years, longest I've ever gotten out of one before, but it was time for an upgrade. Started playing Diablo 4 with my friends and my old pc just couldn't keep up. Went from an i5-4450 cpu, Asus H97P mobo, Asus Strix GeForce GTX 970 gpu, 24gb of Kingston HyperX FURY ram to this new build and am very impressed so far. This is also my first build in over 20 years that I have booted up on the 1st try with no problems like forgetting to plug something in, which I largely contribute to having a fully modular PSU. Only thing I'm missing at the moment is adding 2 140mm fans to the top of the case which I'll be doing soon, once my fingers heal from this install.$1,601.88 -

After extensive research and numerous days and nights dedicated to finding the optimal components within my budget, I was able to successfully assemble it! The performance of this build is great! This CPU and GPU combination I chose is great for intermediate and advanced gaming, consistently achieving frame rates well above 144Hz at 1080p, which is the maximum refresh rate and resolution of my monitor. The temperatures are pretty chill with the cpu maxing at about 60 degree celsius on cinebench and idling at 35 to 40 celsius. The gpu is a little toastier with temps going from 62 to 66 celsius on heaven benchmark and 38 to 43 celsius on idle. I am glad I purchased AIO watercooling for my CPU!$1,610.95 -
