It's been working great so far. I have not encountered any games this PC couldn't run. This setup is absolutely perfect for 1440p gaming. The only thing I would not suggest in this build is the 1500-watt PSU. It's unnecessary. I got it during a sale and I didn't know what I was doing. A 800-watt PSU for this build is sufficient.$2,344.93 -

My last build was 7 years old and not compatible with the latest versions of Windows (not that I *really* wanted to make the switch). Upgrading the DDR-3 ram to DDR-4 or 5 would require upgrading the motherboard, upgrading the motherboard would require upgrading the processor, an upgraded processor would make my GPU a bottleneck... So I'd basically be building a whole new PC. So I built a whole new PC. It's about half the size, as well. I mostly plan to use it for gaming. I've been playing a lot of Darktide and Hogwarts Legacy, planning on playing some Cyberpunk as well. Also Guild Wars (1), but this PC doesn't change the way I play games from 2007 at all. I also homebrew tabletop rpgs and make character sheets for games I like with character sheets I don't like. In the future I may buy a monitor that supports more than 60hz, and maybe a mechanical keyboard without a num pad, since I really only use it to type in my pin these days, and it will save on desk space.$2,247.86 -

This is my first PC build, which I put together using YouTube tutorials and PC building blogs. This PC is intended for a variety of applications, including 3D modeling, Adobe Suite, streaming, and light/moderate gaming. My previous desktop computer was a 15-year-old office desktop so I just wanted something that wouldn't freeze whenever I opened a web browser.$1,404.92 -

This is my first DIY gaming PC build, so, it took me a while to learn everything and put it together. I built this to replace my dying Alienware laptop I had for five years. I am going to be using this mostly for gaming. The entire build process was pretty smooth. I only made a mistake purchasing the wrong motherboard, but I was able to return it back to the store. Once I had the right motherboard, everything went well after. In the end, I am very pleased with the build. It runs most games at 1080p with stable, smooth FPS, but I will need to test more to see where the limit is.$1,300.95 -
