I loved how this computer looked, sleek and mysterious. I played all types of games on this computer like Gary's mod and counter strike. It sat in my basement for a few years because I upgraded to a souped up Main gear vybe. Just this year my fiance needed a new computer and while cleaning out my basement I found my fx6800 and thought it was a great idea to bring new life to this computer and give my fiance a gaming rig she can work and game on aswell. The easy part was gutting all the old tech out because it was really out dated. The hard part was trying to find new tech that would fit inside the case, because of how compact it was in the inside. Yeah I could have cut alot of the useless stuff in the case, but I wanted to keep it close to original looking as possible. It took me about a two months of doing some home work and finding what will fit and what I can afford. The good part of building a sleeper is no products with RBG, because components with RGB are a little more expensive than ones with out. It saved me som3 money there and having a case this case also saved me money. The reason why I went intel and with the asrock mother board was that microcenter gave me a great deal with this combo and the ram too! I went with a noctua air cooler for my cpu because I couldn't fit a water cooling system. For my gpu I went with a 4070ti msi 12gb, it's a great card! I couldn't find any 5070s or 5080s that fit pretty good in this case at the time. This project came out really good. My fiance loves playing hogwarts legacy and Sims while she's working.

I built this rig with a dual purpose in mind: high-performance gaming and efficient content creation. I wanted a system that could handle the latest AAA titles like Elden Ring, and Call of Duty: Warzone, and Black Myth Wukong without any issues. I’m also interested in making more content. Specifically, working with video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and 3D rendering in Blender. So essentially a build that's versatile enough to handle both gaming and demanding creative workflows.

I've been planning it for a couple months now but it's finally done. 14700K, 4070 super, 32GB ram, and a beautiful RGB water cooler. I think this is my best build since my current pc was from 2018 and really is outdated.
