This case is tiny and accepts microATX boards. Can run anything at ultra 1440p with respectable frame rates. With some microcenter discounts the price to performance is insane. My last Radeon GPU was an R9 380 lol.$1,179.93 -

I was running on a 10 year old hp computer that could barely run games over 50 fps. I decided it was time for a upgrade without breaking the bank, and still could end up lasting for give or take 5-7 years. This computer is for those looking for price to performance and those who are used to the AMD environment. Some of these parts I have used in this setup are used components such as the motherboard which I got for around 80 dollars and the cpu which I got for $160 used. NOTE: as there is oddly no cpu water cooling kits option, here is the model (Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360L) which is $120 dollars.$1,221.96 -

Keeping things updated with minimal RGB lighting and plenty of room for upgrades later like m.2, ssd, and ram. With the micro center promotion, i went with i5 12600k and paired it with z690-plus tuf wifi d4, radeon 6950 xt reference card (best stealth looking card in black). I got the big air cooler, deepcool ak620, so if i wanted to overclock the cpu it will be plenty to handle. Top that up with gskill ripjaws ddr4-3200 32gb, wd sn770 1tb and corsair rx850x. The lian li 216 case has plenty of room, best air flow with the 2 160mm fans in the front and the best cable management system. I got all the cables tied up without using a single zip-tie. Overall i believe this is the best bang for your bucks pc build.$1,387.92 -

This build is specifically designed for 1440p High FPS on High to Max settings. I decided that Ray-Tracing was a feature I didn't really care for or notice even when it was on. I didn't want to break the bank either. I started with absolutely nothing not even a mouse and keyboard. So that will skew the price a little higher. But if you're already equipped and just going for a new PC build this one is great! Without the monitor but including Windows license and the usb to update the bios you're looking at about $1550.00. NOTE - The motherboard, processor, and first 16GB of ram was in a bundle. The graphics card was on sale for 649 and included a 50 dollar discount when purchased with any processor. Your price may vary depending on the bundles available along with any sales going on. Honestly this may not be the highest end equipment, but spending any more will result in diminishing returns. You could get an RTX 4080 or whatever but unless your going for ray tracing we're talking about getting 10 to 20 more frames more than the 140 to 170 for AAA games for 270 to 290 for e-sports games at high/max settings than your already getting. It's just not worth it in my eyes. This, in my eyes, is just the perfect build.$1,405.93 -

I wanted to upgrade my pc and since everything on my previous pc was outdated I decided to give that to my dad. I then built a new one centered around my current RTX 2070 with the goals of high end gaming and streaming on the side. In hindsight I should’ve just upgraded my 2070 because the level I play games at in terms of settings makes it difficult to actually stream some games because my GPU is running at 100% load.$1,609.94 -

I play a wide variety of single player games and like games with nice graphics so they are often demanding. Recent games I played include Horizon Zero Dawn, Plague Tale Requiem, and Witcher 3. I play on a 1440p high refresh rate monitor and the 6900 XT has had no trouble delivering 100+ for basically every game I played. It was a nice upgrade over my RTX 3070 although I do miss some of the Nvidia features like DLSS. The 6900 XT is a lot faster though and has 16 GB of VRAM. It even does pretty well in ray traced games. The 13700k is a really powerful CPU probably even overkill for gaming. However it wasn't much more than the 13600k and is helpful on the rare occasions I do rendering or certain data analytics that can utilize a lot of cores/threads. I also really like the Lian LI 205 mesh case I was able to get open box at Micro Center. The RGB fans are nice and it has great airflow. I also like that its not too large, but still able to fit most GPUs. Most of the other parts are standard although I do wish I waited before getting a 4 TB SSD. Prices are much lower now than they were last year.$1,627.96 -

Originally, wanted to build my dream PC, an ITX build that can fit in my backpack but could run Minecraft with shaders at a high framerate. After completing the build, I found myself gaming less and focusing more on College. Funnily enough, I decided to take a class on Geospatial Informational Systems. This requires us to run a program called ArcGIS. ArcGIS doesn't look like much, but its recommended requirements are: 8-Core CPU, 32GB of ram, a GPU with 6-8GB of Vram. You'd think a program that just draws maps wouldn't need a beefy GPU, but that was wrong lol.$1,874.94 -

Jupyter was built for the best 2K gaming (and hopefully performance per dollar) and a healthy sprinkling of software development. Built it for my girlfriend who primarily plays Valorant but soon I think I can convert her to Warzone 2. And her day job is as a software developer, so have the extra RAM and compute means she can effective halve her deployment times. The next upgrade would definitely be a better monitor, with the 6950 XT able to sustain 120 Hz at even the highest settings in AAA games, her current 75 Hz monitor falls far behind. And after that a 2 TB HDD for archival storage. In hindsight, I would have connected the fans directly to the motherboard to allow better control and possible opted for an ASUS motherboard for its cleaner BIOS and software support. Nonetheless, its a powerful build and a massive upgrade from her old machine. She's good for another 3 years at the very least!$1,993.90
