Although my old computer served me well for many years, it really was time for an upgrade and when you got to upgrade you do it right! The purpose of this build is to provide all my computing and gaming needs for the foreseeable future while at the same time with the AM5 platform being upgradeable for whatever comes down the road.$2,189.78 -

This is a very nice gaming computer that would play any AAA titles at the best settings, featuring the best AMD AM4 Gaming CPU, the Ryzen 5800X3D w/3D V-Cache. The CPU is liquid cooled and paired with an RX 6900XT, which would trade blows with the RTX 3090. It will easily handle games at High settings 240+ FPS at 1080p or 150-200fps+ at 1440p and would be an excellent choice for COD MWII. eSports titles could easily run much higher FPS and push 240Hz panels very well. The system would make an excellent gaming rig capable of playing Halo Infinite, Fortnite, PUBG, Battlefield 2042, GTA 5, COD MWII or Warzone 2, Destiny 2, WoW, Cyberpunk 2077, etc.$2,164.92 -

So this will be a big improvement. I took a break from gaming so I guess I'll be getting back into modded Skyrim for now. I say gaming mainly because the work I do is done on a hosted affiliated server rather than being done on a personal computer or workstation.$2,109.91 -

I built this absolute unit of a PC to handle pretty much anything I can throw at it with long term life in mind. Rather than build something that’s so obsolete that it’s tough to play new titles in two years, I can comfortably expect to game on this machine for a Considerable amount of time. Coupled with the Hyte Y60 case and LianLi SL140 & SL120v2 fans, it stays cool even through the toughest games on the highest graphics settings. I use it for GTARP on FiveM, Iracing, Numerous shooters, and even flight sims.$2,980.88 -

Fortunately, I was able to find RX 7900 XT for MSRP, so I built the pc based from there. This beast will run all games currently out in the market at extreme graphic setting. And I intend to spend a lot of time gaming on this PC! Of course, I am also trying to get into video editing. This machine will handle it as well.$2,699.95 -

I intend to use this for more than 7 years, so I got more of the higher end and latest parts to last me longer. I also got my PhD and have a decent paying job now, I wanted to spurge a bit. This rig uses the AM5 Ryzen 7900X and the PowerColor RX 7900XT. I got the Ryzen 7900X + G.Skill Flare X5 for $440 along with a Gigabyte Aorus Pro AX for $240 from Microcenter which was an amazing deal. I wanted RGB RAM though, so I also purchased the G.Skill Trident Z RGB RAM from Microcenter. First time living near a Microcenter but I'm glad I did when I decided to build a rig. Note that the Arctic Freezer 2 360 AIO does not fit on top in the Corsair 5000X but I zip-tied it and it seems fairly stable, surprisingly. Also, the XFX Merc319 6800XT in the boxes is not used since I got the RX7900XT.$2,203.91 -
