I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). And for my 2nd piece of advice, enjoy the build expierience you know, have fun.$2,572.91 -

My last build was right after my daughter was born back in '09 with a Q8200 Core 2 Quad and molex fans. Kids are expensive and so are pc parts. I stopped gaming on the pc and I think it's time to get back in. So after over a decade, this built was meant to happen.$1,288.93 -

Mostly new parts but bought CPU and case with fans second hand and a few things on deals or with coupons savings money. Putting it together was very easy after watching videos and reading manuals. Just need to take time and be firm but delicate with parts. As for bios settings, using Intel POR helps keep everything cool and playing games with no hassle. Fans don’t get very loud when going full blast so generally a very pleasant experience using the PC so far.$2,994.91 -

My objective was to build a rig on the premise of cost efficiency vs. having the right hardware to get the job done. The problem was temptation. Man that 4090 comes to mind! I did choose to go the AM4 platform's route though. It is a solid choice in my view because it is AMD's best product vs. price to date. Performance turned out to be really good as well. Although it is an older platform I'm still playing games like God of War, Cyberpunk, Doom Eternal, Horizon, and Call of Duty III at more than satisfactory levels. The graphics are still eye-catching and that 6800 XT is a beast and was a great choice for this build! Temperatures are great when gaming as well. I did stress test it with Cinebench R23 and AIDA64 and those results did not even approach borderline.$2,028.62 -

Built around the Microcenter 7800x3D bundle with the Gigabyte B650 Gaming X MB and G.Skill Flare X5 RAM. I wanted to go with something similar to the Lian Li case but found a much cheaper case from a brand I’ve never heard of but achieves the same look. Really just wanted to get something with glass panels to show off all the Arctic RGB matching fans. Also found a cheap CPU cooler that was a dual tower design to keep the 7800x3D cooled.$1,674.95 -

Got the best APU for AM4 the 5700G with Noctua L9a. Always try to stick with Asus Strix Motherboards so got the best ITX available the Strix X570-I. Paired it up with the HyperX Predator 64GB 3600MHz and Samsung 980 Pro 1TB. I mainly use this as a HTPC connected to my LG OLED and use something called Moonlight/Sunshine to stream my games from my main build. Highly recommend anyone who already has a high end build and still wants to be able to go to a different room and stream their games from another PC without moving the actual PC around.$590.00 -

My computer build is a multi-purpose system and also a love letter to the amazing retro cases from Caselabs. Caselabs went bankrupt in 2018 due to the increase in import tariffs. So, to this day, finding any Caselabs product is rare and treated as collectible. My computer build features a Caselabs S3 with a black interior and white exterior. It is water-cooled using EKWB fittings and waterblocks. The coolant is a Mayhems pastel coolant that changes colors from yellow to green depending on the light. I use my computer for school, but I also built it to play 4k games without breaking a sweat. Some of the best games I've played using this computer are Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, SMITE, and Elden Ring. Some improvements I would make would be to make the custom cables shorter, just so I can reach the drain valve a little easier.$2,336.93 -

Despite all that and combined with other parts it still runs every game just fine at 1080p. I mainly use this computer to review the insane amount of gaming mice I have collected. Its a basic build I built around 1080p gaming and the 3080 Ti, whichwas a great all around performing GPU that I was able to pick up off one of my local marketplace from a private buyer. I then bought the MB/CPU/RAM/PSU combo off a friend who had upgraded to a newer platform. Since I didn't need anything new and this fit what I needed it for, I also found a H5 Elite case from a private seller on my local marketplace as well and came with a Corsair RM750. Was able to repurpose some SSD I had laying around and all these together to make a complete working PC. I've been playing FO76 mainly and some FFXIV here and there. But mainly this computer is mainly used for YouTube and catching up on web browsing when not working.$1,135.00 -

I use my PC for gaming, recording videos, watching shows and videos, and doing schoolwork. I'm currently working on the "Akatsuki" themed aesthetic with the Tobi Funko pop, and I'm gonna add cable extensions later on. I'll likely upgrade the GPU, at some point in the future before switching over to AM5. The things I would've done differently were to get a AIO cooler for my CPU, and get the 5800x3D rather than the regular 5800x$1,204.97 -

Case was great to build in and had no issues with MC or any of their parts. Good prices for the parts imo but the cooler was a bit pricey. Great MB with onboard WiFi for the B550 chipset. This is my sff PC that I built for general work but is capable of PC gaming! I wanted to go with a sff PC since space is limited and I liked the idea of having something compact but powerful. The graphics card was a carry over from my old PC but it'll probably be upgraded later down the line. I originally built this comuter to play more casual games like Sims 4, Minecraft with RTX, Stardew Valley, and other emulation. Later when I entered my tech school, I began to use it to learn AutoCad, Blender, Revit, and 3dsmax. None of which I am good at yet lol. Starting last month I got a Quest 2 headset so I could play PCVR games using a link cable like Job Sim, Blade & Sorcery, Vivecraft, and Beat Saber. I use it for 3D printing and Silhouette Studio for crafting and stuff. I wish I didn't cheap out on my motherboard and storage because 1.5 TB isn't really enough anymore and my RAM is only running at 3333 Mhz instead of 3600. There also isn't very many USB ports and RGB headers for everything I would like to connect. Soon I am going to be doing a Snowblind mod whenever the monitor I ordered comes in the mail.$1,329.92 -

This is a high end 4090 gaming build that is technically a "Budget 4090 Build" where I use some open box items and used components to save money. I am upgrading from a PC that is 9 years old and wanted to build a new one that will last me another 9 years. This is a gaming rig that can handle almost anything even though I mostly use it for productivity. Still in the process, but I will get back into streaming content online soon playing random games and drawing while hoping to do some game production. My goal is to fully utilize this PC with my 4K monitors. Besides that, it looks cool to look at! What a wonderful journey and it all started from buying the Microcenter Bundle!$4,090.69 -

I wanted to use minimal RGB, so the parts wouldn’t be extremely saturated with RGB, and so I could play more comfortably at night. I chose these parts with a $1300 budget in mind. There were definitely things I believe I could’ve done to improve the build, such as a PSU without daisy-chained PCIE connectors, but it’s the price you pay for a quality unit, I suppose.$1,213.11 -
