AMD Ryzen 5 5600x CPU- Purchased at Microcenter with a special sale price of $129.99 using their credit card for an additional 5% off. Probably the best price to performance deal I’ve ever seen on a 6 core 12 thread CPU. Asus B550-F - Quality budget B550 board purchased at Microcenter with $20 bundle saving with the CPU and 5% off using their credit card. Has 4 RAM slots and both 5v ARGB and 12V RGB headers. XPG RGB 16gb DDR4 3600mhz - Purchased at Amazon with 3% off using the Amazon credit card. Solid speed for Ryzen 5600x and has RGB! Gigabyte 1tb SSD - Purchased at Amazon as well with 3% off using credit card. Can’t go wrong with any NVME drive honestly. Asus Strix Radeon 570 4gb - Purchased used on eBay. In my opinion, the RX 570 is still the budget king for 1080p gaming. NZXT S340 White - Standard mid-sized ATX case purchased on a long time ago and was used in a previous build, reusing it in this build. This has become my favorite budget case for “clean” builds. For $50 (I originally picked it up years ago) it has tempered glass and looks great. PowerSpec 650w Bronze - Power supply I had from my previous build. It doesn’t have black cables, but since I had sleeved cable extensions it didn’t matter. I assumed a price since I already had it laying around. Gigabyte Aorus ATC800 CPU Cooler - This thing is massive! I really liked the RGB look on this CPU Cooler and filled out the space nicely in this case. Previously had a Corsair H100i which ended up failing, so I wanted to try something different with using a large air CPU cooler. This turned out to be one of my favorite builds so far. I like the theme and it looks super clean!

Built this PC because I was guilted by my friends to play Hell Divers II. My wife also needed a PC to do our taxes on every year. The goal was mild future proofing (the GPU is my Bottleneck) and escalated quite a bit from the original build scope thanks to the Ryzen 7 7700x bundle. I am able to play games at 1440 on high settings and 1080 ultra settings at a minimum of 65-80 fps. The original purpose was just to have a racing sim rig. This is the first pc I have even worked on, I assembled/built myself in an afternoon.

This PC was put together around the Intel i5 12600kf and Intel Arc A770 Bundle from Microcenter. The total cost for this PC was super impressive given the performance it was putting out. I am able to play demanding games like Flight simulator with stable performance using DX12. I posted some synthetic benchmark scores in the images for reference if anyone is considering getting the A770. If most of the games you play are newer DX12 titles then the A770 is legit. The Powerspec PSU and Teamgroup RAM were also great deals that really completed this build. It will be used for gaming as well as a general purpose workstation PC with its 10 core i5.

I always wanted to build a pc ever since 2019 when I first got into fortnite competitive. All my friends and teamates had good specs while I played on a i7 3rd gen with a 580. At that time I was really close to building a 2070 pc but due to some financial issues couldn't. Fastforward to november 2023 I had some money saved up and so decided to build this

This gaming PC was made after a few of the family's windows laptops were damaged. We have a mac at home, but wanted a dedicated Windows PC at home. I used one of the Micro Center Intel bundles as the basis for the gaming build (The $250 one with the Core i5), then picked out parts to build on top of it. A good thing for my current budget was that I had various storage devices at hand for this build. I did decide to get the case elsewhere as I found an open box deal for a case that normally costs $100. I am happy with how things have turned out for this build. For upgrades, I plan on buying more sticks of ram to double the memory capacity and I am in the middle of getting be quiet case fans for the desktop as the case only had two pre-installed and were quite loud and rumbled a lot. I know the motherboard supports the current 14th gen cpu's, so I may do that whenever those go down in price. And if necessary, I might change the CPU cooler if the current $20 one craps out in the future.

I like the Fractal North case because you can just look at it and be pleased after a very expensive purchase decision. I wanted the inside to be blacked out since you can't really see the inside of your case all the time, and the only RGB I really want is the Geforce RTX logo from my graphics card. Decided to be conservative on the specs I go with, albeit the 7800 X3D bundle is too good to pass up. I wanted to save the rest of the money for a very nice (and expensive) QD-OLED monitor, preferably, something like the MSI MPG 321URX, which is sadly still not in stock. Other than that, Noctua fans keep my PC quiet without any annoying frequencies, which is useful since I use open-back headphones. 4 TB main drive should last for a while, and cover all my storage needs.

Built this AMD 8700G PC for coding and running programs that I need for my mad science lab, but looks like it will be my wife's PC instead. She will use it for general PC activities including some casual 1080p gaming (Secret World Legends, Entropia, and others that I don't know the names of). A few years from now, if her old Nvidia/Intel based gaming PC breaks down then I may overclock this one and/or add a video card, or maybe even drop in a new CPU. Am using the heat sink that came with the 8700G CPU, and during a bit of gaming the temp never got above 32 degrees C so I won't be upgrading to water cooling. It has very low power use and it is whisper quiet.

After discovering the HYTE Y70 Touch case just a day or two after the company announced that they had exhausted the global supply of the integrated 4K touch displays, I was both in love and heartbroken. I loved the case design and the novelty of the built-in touch display, but now they were sold out everywhere and being sold for exorbitant amounts on the second-hand markets. I had signed up for a few waiting lists for on sites like B&H in hopes that one might appear in stock somewhere. My friend and coworker heard me talk about this case for days and weeks as I spent all of my free time trying to find one for near retail price to no avail. Then one day, while that coworker is on vacation, I get a text from him saying he had received an email from B&H offering him a 30-minute window to purchase one from some stock they had held back. He knew how much I wanted one, and put himself on the waitlist! Now that he had secured one for me, I had to build a machine worthy of such a hunt!

I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). And for my 2nd piece of advice, enjoy the build expierience you know, have fun.

Mostly new parts but bought CPU and case with fans second hand and a few things on deals or with coupons savings money. Putting it together was very easy after watching videos and reading manuals. Just need to take time and be firm but delicate with parts. As for bios settings, using Intel POR helps keep everything cool and playing games with no hassle. Fans don’t get very loud when going full blast so generally a very pleasant experience using the PC so far.
