My Silver Medal

I legitimately spent about 6 months stubbornly, obsessively, frustratingly trying to find the nvidia rtx 5080 card I wanted. I insisted that I would not pay for one of the 3rd party upcharge models that have no real benefits over the standard prices associated with the FE line that were set by nvidia. In summary, this was a spectacular failure.

While the 5080 release was a complete failure for me, I found it a lot easier to obtain a reasonable 5070 card. I'm a little worried that the 12gb vram won't be very future proof, but for now it's serving me well and I have no complaints about it's base performance. While I was looting microcenter, I decided to upgrade to a larger and quieter air cooler since it was so affordable. I also upgraded my rgb components from static rgb to customizable argb - even though i still am most comfortable with the standard blue glow.
