I built this PC for gaming because of the parts that I picked and this PC has came a long way with me and I am very happy and grateful for having this with me for future upgrades I might upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 9 7800x and the motherboard to get the maximum performance I can get. I recently built this gaming PC with a focus on both performance and budget. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600 paired with the RX 6600 is great for playing modern games like Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, and Call of Duty: Warzone at 1080p with high settings. In the future, I might upgrade the storage to 1TB or consider adding more RAM to push into content creation. Looking back, I might have opted for a slightly higher-end CPU or GPU for future-proofing, but overall, I’m thrilled with how this build turned out.$792.92 -

I have built this PC for primary use, such as content creation and light gaming. It handles great programs like Photoshop and video editing. I added AMD RX 6600, the GPU still runs many titles in 1080p, including the latest modern. I mainly use this $600 budget pc build for gaming. i play Minecraft, Rocket League, Roblox and Fortnite. Everything runs really smooth and it has been very enjoyable to use this PC. One upgrade that I'm planning on doing is swapping the wraith stealth stock cooler that came with my Ryzen 5 5600 to an after market tower cooler for better temps and noise levels. On the flipside, one thing I would do is use a different cooler from the get go instead of having to upgrade. I would also like to add more storage, right now I only have 512gb of storage total.$557.94 -

This gaming PC was made after a few of the family's windows laptops were damaged. We have a mac at home, but wanted a dedicated Windows PC at home. I used one of the Micro Center Intel bundles as the basis for the gaming build (The $250 one with the Core i5), then picked out parts to build on top of it. A good thing for my current budget was that I had various storage devices at hand for this build. I did decide to get the case elsewhere as I found an open box deal for a case that normally costs $100. I am happy with how things have turned out for this build. For upgrades, I plan on buying more sticks of ram to double the memory capacity and I am in the middle of getting be quiet case fans for the desktop as the case only had two pre-installed and were quite loud and rumbled a lot. I know the motherboard supports the current 14th gen cpu's, so I may do that whenever those go down in price. And if necessary, I might change the CPU cooler if the current $20 one craps out in the future.$772.92 -

I built this computer to use as my main desktop computer for web browsing, programming, and occasional gaming. I wanted it to be smaller, but still easy to assemble, so I opted for the popular NR200P case. In retrospect, I think I should have gotten a motherboard with more m.2 slots as managing the sata power/data cables isn't worth the saved money imo.$777.93 -

I’m happy with the way it came out except for some of the wiring due to the TUF PSU having very malleable cabling. Not a bad thing I’m just inexperienced. Also, I wanted an AIO with an LCD screen but the NZXT and Ryujin still sit at a high price. I despise the large pump on the rug aio, but love the pump head despite not having a screen. I'm thrilled to share my very first gaming PC setup with you all. After years of living in the Mac world, I've finally made the leap into PC gaming, and let me tell you, it's been an incredible journey! Why I Built It: Switching from Mac to PC was a big decision for me, but I wanted to explore the world of gaming in a whole new way. I built this PC because I wanted something powerful enough to run all the latest games smoothly while still fitting within my budget. It's amazing how customizable and versatile PC gaming can be, and I couldn't wait to dive in. Purpose: This PC may be my first, but it's already exceeded my expectations. It's more than enough for me to enjoy gaming to the fullest, whether I'm exploring the vastness of space in "Elite Dangerous" or battling it out in matches of "Overwatch." Games I Play: As someone new to PC gaming, I'm still exploring all the amazing titles out there, but I've already found a couple of favorites. "Elite Dangerous" is perfect for satisfying my craving for space exploration and adventure, while "Overwatch" scratches that competitive itch with its intense multiplayer action. I'm constantly discovering new games to play and loving every minute of it. Future Upgrades and Reflections: While this PC may be perfect for me right now, I'm excited to see where my gaming journey takes me in the future. As I become more experienced with PC gaming, I might consider upgrading certain components to further enhance my gaming experience. But for now, I'm just enjoying every moment of gaming on my new setup and embracing this exciting new chapter in my gaming journey.$874.94 -

This case was perfect for my personal build, and I thought it'd look amazing on my desk. I mainly play fortnite and roblox, so I didn't spend too much money on specs. On the other hand, I tried to make it look as aesthetically pleasing as possible since I'd be staring at it longingly for most of the day. I even spray painted the GPU so it'd fit the white case. I'd consider this a mid-range PC in terms of performance, but I think it looks amazing visually. I plan on upgrading the GPU and CPU once I'm free from crippling debt LOL.$656.96 -

This was a budget build I did for a friend, keeping cost in mind, but also a clean look and decent performance. The combination of Ryzen 5600 with RX 6600 is amazing, giving me over 200fps on fortnite (performance mode) on a 1080p, for the budget, this is an amazing build, still looking cool and modern. Sadly, all prices went up in microcenter a month later and I'm not able to replicate this build, the cheapest I could find was a Ryzen 5500 with GTX 1660 Super and a B450 board, paying over $50 on tob of this build, too sad.$664.91 -

I build this system so I could stream and game at the same time, rather than run two pc's at once. I usually stream a selection of games and whatever is currently popular I will make content on. I upgraded to a msi suprim liquid x 4090 and i9 13900k. The pc is rocking a msi edge wifi z690 mobo , 32 gigs ddr4 corsair vengeance pro ram , msi 1000 watt psu, artic freezer II 420 mm rgb aio and 2 sets of lian li fans. When I got the 420 mm aio I didn't account for the thickness and how big it is. So as you can tell the case had to be cut and modified a little, since I spent all of my budget on the cpu , aio and gpu. Overall it looks amazing, this pc has come a long way! An aesthetic-focused mid range gaming rig with room to grow and upgrade, designed for my wife. Definitely not winning any awards for the price-to-performance ratio, but I intentionally specced around some components (like the white, way more wattage than needed power supply and 32 GB of RGB RAM) based around looks and not needing to be upgraded later, with other components (like the RX 6600) being obvious targets for future upgrades. If anyone wanted to emulate this build while still going somewhat aesthetically pleasing, I'd go with the black version of the case, no RGB RAM (and also only 16 GB), get a single normal fan for rear exhaust instead of the RGB 3 pack, different power supply, no wifi card (if you don't need it, we did), and just use the stock heat sink for the 5600. With those changes, this would be a killer bang-for-buck build. As it is, I fully accept the higher cost in exchange for better looks and great accessories.$1,223.86 -

First of all, this is the first pc I've attempted to build in maybe 12-15 years. Technology is very different now. So I'm basically calling myself a beginner. I started building this mainly to have a pc that's very budget friendly and one that will be flexible upgradable down the road if I decide I want to do that. Selecting the components was a process of learning. But it was fun!$649.96 -

This was a gaming pc that was built for my family to use both for gaming and everyday use. Almost every part was from microcenter with the exception of the CPU cooler. I play games such as Rocket League on this and my sister uses this for games such as Sims. I may eventually start overclocking this build as the thermals are great at current usage but I have not done any overclocking yet because i am able to get overkill FPS for the old 60Hz monitor I currently have. I don't have any current plans for upgrades and to be honest I don't think I would have changed too much if I could do it again. These parts were very good for my budget and I am very happy with how the build turned out overall.$688.82 -

I built it for vr - heavily modded skyrim vr specifically, but also vr chat. And also for ai - open source llms and stable diffusion. For things i would have done different, I didnt have the money for a really really good cpu at the time and i opted for a ddr4 board to save money - the 12700k is great but turns out its the limiting factor in my skyrim vr modlist (~500 mods). Overclocking the cpu and ram and tightening timings on the ram helped a lot but it still kind of chokes sometimes. I may upgrade to a 13900ks or a 7800x3d, and add a custom loop. Also i wish i got a asus 4090. The zotac doesnt give you the full 130% power limit and i dont want to flash a different vbios.$3,172.91 -

First of all. let me make it clear that this build is not done according to my tastes and preferences. At all. However, I have a friend who is completely enamored with RGB components and so this otherwise-basic build was assembled according to what he wanted. The 6600xt is a midrange card that runs 1080p and occasionally 1440p games like Overwatch 2. Air cooling (and not a liquid AIO unit) was chosen for the cpu so that my friend wouldn't have to worry about an element of an AIO failing in future years of use.$884.92 -

Gaming and light work PC, upgraded from a PC I first received in the mid 90's. Yes, I've been upgrading this PC since it was a Packard Bell Pentium 1 machine. I've never completely replaced this machine since then, always part by part. I have some files/images that are more than 20 years old. Used for playing all kinds of single and multiplayer games, mostly horror and shooters.$3,230.35 -

They have been asking for a gaming PC and I thought building it together from the ground up would be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon together. For now we have no future upgrades in mind other that cable extensions for the it to look cooler and also to allow better cable management. I don't think there's anything I would have done differently other than to caution my kids that once built, the process of installing and bring the OS up to date would take som additional time. They just wanted to download games right after the BIOS screen came up!$715.43 -

It can run heavily modded Skyrim at a consistent 60 fps and I'm constantly reaching mid 200s in destiny 2 which my monitor definitely cant handle. I built this gaming rig with the goal of playing the latest AAA titles at high resolutions and high frame rates. Some of my favorite games to play are Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Call of Duty Warzone. I also do some video editing and streaming on the side, so I wanted a powerful CPU and plenty of RAM to handle those tasks as well. In hindsight, I might have gone for a larger SSD to store all my games and files, but overall I'm really happy with how this build turned out.$2,874.91
