Things just kept falling into place! The mobo was 100 the cpu was 100 the GPU was 720 from a microcenter return during the GPU craziness and I just couldn’t pass that up. I love playing Tarkov, Valorant, cyberpunk, kingdom come, elden ring, and the list goes on. Also overclocking is such a fun thing to do with 3dmark. Computers are fun…sometimes!$1,501.00 -

I built this computer originally for gaming and streaming, but I never got too into the streaming thing so it's mainly a gaming rig. I mostly play Doom Eternal, Forza Horizon 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, Assassin's Creed (specifically Valhalla), and Warzone. In terms of upgrades, the biggest (and most expensive) one I'm looking to do is custom water-cooling. On the more affordable side of upgrades though, I think some RGB ram would top things off nicely. There have been a few upgrades to this system already; from PSU, to case, to GPU. Originally, the case was a Corsair Crystal Series 570X, the original PSU size was about 650W, and the original GPU was an EVGA 1050ti. After the 1050ti I went with the ASUS TUF RX6800XT, but I had to RMA the card two different times for the same exact issues, and nvidia cards were finally becoming affordable and available so I finally have a 3080!$2,404.88 -

My initial motivation for building this PC two years ago was the anticipated release of Microsoft Flight Simulator. I had been playing other simulators for many years before then and wanted an upgrade for the new intense game. I've been wanting an upgrade from my Dell Optiplex retrofitted with a GTX 1050 Ti for a while, but this pushed me to actually go ahead and do it. I still play Microsoft Flight Simulator to this day, but most of my time on this machine has shifted to software engineering and, incidentally, developing addons for the simulator. I am a computer science student and use this computer to compile Rust libraries, run simulations in Python, and develop websites. A year after getting this computer, I replaced the stock heat sink on my RTX 2080 Super with an NZXT Kraken, and it was totally worth it as I haven't had any problems with thermals since then and the computer is pretty darn quiet. The only upgrade that I see myself making in the foreseeable future is a kit of custom white cables along with a modular PSU to replace the horrendous ketchup and mustard powering the rig.$1,732.91 -

Gaming (R6S, Pubg, WoW, LoL, Battlefield and Valheim) I finished building this pc a week ago. (When I finally got my hands on a RTX 3080 FE) My cats spend their time increasing the loop temperature by 5C, but thats ok since I love my cats I am really satisfied with this build; as to why I used all fittings for the loop, it's because I originally made one or two connections with all fittings and I really liked the way they looked so I went back to Microcenter and got a bunch more Black Sparkle Bitspower fittings to finish off the build. It was just strangely appealing to me to use all fittings. I bought some cables to connect ARGB connectors to the Corsair Lighting Node Pro and Corsair Commander; so I can controller every LED in this build using ICUE software. Actual Price Estimation is around $4000-$5000$2,699.93 -

I built this setup to more comfortably game and work for long hours at a time. Before, I was gaming on a 60 hz TV which had horrible input lag and was super limiting. Now that I have a 1440p 144hz monitor, I can really take advantage of that true PC gaming power! I play various games and also create digital content. I normally enjoy FPS games like Apex Legends and Warzone, but I have been wanting to get into more RPG-esque games as well. When I'm creating, I use the Adobe suite, more specifically Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere. This build has made my workflow so much more efficient and powerful.$1,839.92 -
