My daughter wanted a better computer and since she helps me upgrade mine from time to time she wanted to build her own. We told her if she could keep it around 500.00 budget we'd help her, so we scoured forums and youtube videos for less expensive builds. We found Toasty Bros there, and they in turn directed us to microcenter where we found a very nice cpu/motherboard/ram combo. with the combo and new case we came in around $570. She got her wish and I got a great father-daughter moment to cherish the rest of my life. :D$574.95 -

I like old-school tech, tinkering, and trying to make things work that don't make sense. So, I took an old Compaq Presario 4090US Internet PC case, gutted it, chopped away some of the metal on the back, and squeezed modern parts into it. Well, mostly. The system is a fully-functional modern computer, though for extra fun, I've Hackintoshed it to run macOS Monterey. Even though it's running the latest macOS release (as of this writing), it's still got old-school charms: I've got a working floppy drive and optical drive inside of it. Was even able to use the original power LEDs! The only real trouble was finding where to put the power supply, as the case was designed for a proprietary sized PSU. Right now, I'm just using double-sided mounting tape to stick it to the bottom of the case. Hey, it works! :D For comparison, this computer originally had 128MB RAM, a 30GB hard drive, an 800MHz Celeron, and ran Windows ME.$684.94 -

Since that time i have gotten into music production and recording and so i have a mixer/control surface that i use with ableton live (its a Presonus StudioLive 32SC if you're curious) i have thoroughly enjoyed this pc, and i cant wait to do more things with it.$1,584.95 -

In 2013 did my first full build. Since then I been mainly only replacing parts that have died and just upgraded to a 2060 super this year, so I could play games on the higher settings without issue. Currently play SC2, LOL,D3,OW,MHW, Sea of Thieves, BL3 and DOS2 are just some of the main games I play. I also do video editing on the side for additional income but pc renders it pretty slow due to old cpu. Outside of that I love watching live twitch streams while I play games or working on stuff. Have the pc hooked up to the wall mounted tv to watch Netflix and other streaming services from the comfort of my bed. Hoping to upgrade my pc in the near future to be able to handle both gaming and video editing. Would also like to start streaming but right now pc a little to old to handle good stream quality and gaming performance. Thing I hoping to upgrade in the near future is an AMD Ryzen 3900X, MSI X570 Gaming MOBA, and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 3200. This way my pc can easily handle anything I want to do with it and won’t have to upgrade for a long time$1,424.93 -

I built it this summer to do some gaming and help with my online classes. I mostly play eSport and AAA titles such as CSGO, R6:Siege, GTAV, Borderlands, Gears of War, and COD. The 2060 Super/Ryzen 3600 combo is amazing and runs almost any game at 1080p High settings with no problem and performs well at 1440p. I think it should be an amazing PC for the next few years but I may look to upgrade the storage down the line. Currently I only have a Seagate 2TB HDD and a 256GB Inland Premium M.2 SSD so I will probably add another 2TB HDD or a 1TB Samsung 2.5in SSD. I may also look to upgrade the AIO. The white H100i fits the color scheme amazingly but I really like the look of the LCD display on the NZXT Z63. I also might buy two more Corsair LL120 RGB fans to replace the stock NZXT fans I currently have mounted on the radiator.$1,883.87 -

Hoping to upgrade my pc in the near future to be able to handle both gaming and video editing since I been enjoy video editing as a side project since currently out of work. Might end up streaming later on just for fun but right now pc a little old to handle good stream quality and gaming performance. Thing I hoping to upgrade in the near future is an AMD Ryzen 3900X , MSI X570 Gaming MOBA, and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 3200. It would be best for 1080p but I use a 1440p monitor but it still does really well with it. I kind of wish i would have got a 2070 super but the 2060 S works just fine. So far I've been able to run every single game I play on the highest settings. On cod mw I usually get an average of 80 fps which is fine because I used to be a 60 fps ps4 player. I also play GTA V, CSGO which stays on my 144 fps limiter the whole time, scrap mechanic, and beamng drive. On the easier games to run like beamng and scrap mechanic I usually stay right around 144 fps. I overclocked my gpu by about 5% I sometimes do 10% which games that can handle it. I plan on upgrading my graphics card and possibly my CPU in a few years. I wish they would have made it so you could use more than one graphics card so I wouldn't have to worry about selling my old graphics card and I could use the old graphics card plus the new one to make it super powerful. I am pretty happy with my first time build and it should be good a few years some crazy titles come out.$1,277.91 -

Built it mainly to play rust, putting 600 hours in before being burnt out. The i switched the Valorant with my friends, and I throw in some Call of Duty in. I'm planning on upgrading my ram and my monitor soon. I probably would have saved so more money, so that i could purchase a 2060 super with rgb. The gpu blocks a lot of light in my case.$1,066.44 -

Hello, i built this pc with parts all from Microcenter in Marieta Georgia. On this pc I play rainbow six siege, minecraft, world of warships, and Call Of Duty Modern Warfare. I know this build probably isn’t gonna win because there are gonna be builds way cooler than mine but i’m giving it a shot. In the future i plan on replacing my 2060 super with a 1080ti, i plan on adding a 500gb Nvme SSD, a x570 mother board, a ryzen 7 3700x, a modular psu, is cable mod extensions and a NZXT case.$1,674.82 -
