I built my pc last year just graduated high school worked over the summer and was able to save enough to build. The main games I play are call of duty and overwatch right now. I don’t plan on upgrading till after college I wanted to spend a lot now on this build so it’ll last and so far it’s amazing on every game. Last thing I am upgrading here is more storage.$1,394.93 -

I recently completed this build I started during the holidays, upgrading from an old 4790k system. Micro Center had some great deals on 12th gen Intel CPU bundles, so I thought it was a good time. I bought the RTX 3080 used, but kind of wish I got a new 6800XT from Micro Center instead for around the same price. My main monitor is a 1440p/165hz Acer Predator with only G-Sync which is why I went with Nvidia. I still plan on adding some case fans to my build in the future, but temps are pretty good right now with the Lancool 216 case and Thermalright CPU cooler. Total cost of the build so far is about $1200.$1,221.93 -

My parts were starting to get pretty slow so I decided to have a little fun and really treat myself! Built it for gaming so I can play 1440p games at my monitor's refresh rate, 170hz. When I first built it, I played a lot of Apex and Dead by Daylight, but I've made the switch over to Overwatch 2 instead of Apex. Also built it for newer games, like Cyberpunk 2077. I was thinking of upgrading to a 4000 series GPU for potential VR, but the pricing is not on the right mark so I'll probably just wait a while to upgrade anything. If I could change anything, I would make sure to cable manage the back a bit better... not my strongest area of PC building.$2,192.34 -

I originally built this computer back in 2017 with a 4690k and a 960, over the years it has had many upgrades, a 1060 to a 1080ti to a 3080 10gb FHR, the CPU went from the 4690k to a 8600k to now a 12600k. I am planning on putting a 12700k in the computer. The computer has been through a lot and has survived many case changes and drops.$2,490.90 -

I play at 1440p 240hz which provides a mix of fluidity and detail, and this PC is adequate for such usage. However, I would rather have an Air-cooler over a liquid AIO as the AIO has an audible pump noise while requiring 2 fans to cool down the radiator. There are excellent air cooling options that perform as well as liquid coolers. I also would have gone with an SFX power supply, which would give me the ability to switch to a smaller form factor case.$1,829.93 -

Long overdue for a new build (old: i7-4790k and a dead GTX 1080) I went with an aesthetic build with RGB options if I'm ever in the mood for a light show and can turn them all off when I'm not. Primarily for gaming and general use it's so far fulfilling its purpose. I've swapped out parts before on previously owned computers that have been built for me but this was my first build from scratch and the case made it easy to work with. There's room to upgrade and expand as needs (and funds!) come along. Would like to eventually change out the cables to white.$2,366.54
