Wanting a top of the line PC since pubg was released recently I have been able to build my dream PC with the relatively the best parts money can buy. I can tell you there is no better feeling than being able to run and game at the highest setting with a constant+100 fps . I to plan on swapping to cooler and case fans when I grow out of a full RGB case .$3,674.90 -

I intended to build something mid-range, nothing crazy. So far I've only played Fortnite, Horizon Zero Dawn, Need for Speed Heat and Helldivers 2, and all ran nicely. Not bad for a first crack at building.$990.21 -

My friend wanted his system upgraded to play Overwatch 2 and CIV 6 without his system crapping itself, so I said, "alright bro, I gochu." We scrubbed through the pc parts on the microcenter website, finding the perfect parts for his build. "Hey, Mello," he said to me. "You're team red, right?" "Hell yeah dude." I responded, grinning widly. "I'll get you hooked up with this bundle, bro" Ryzen 7 7800x3d, G-Skill 6000MTS 32gb of ram, and a b550-e plus wifi chipset motherboard. "Look at this fundle, bro." "hell yeah." he said. And so, I pre-ordered the "fundle" (bundle, but fun), arrived the next day to pick it up with him with the nicest looking ATX case on the market. And then we got to work.$1,517.91 -

Here’s a breakdown of why I chose each component and how it contributes to my setup: Gaming. I enjoy a variety of games, from AAA titles to indie gems. Some of my current favorites include "The Witcher 3," "Cyberpunk 2077," "Overwatch," "Fortnite," and "Minecraft." These games demand a solid GPU and CPU to run smoothly, and my setup handles them quite well. 3D Printing. I use software like Blender, Fusion 360, and Tinkercad for designing my 3D prints. The i7-6700 CPU provides the necessary processing power to handle complex 3D modeling tasks without lag. Programs like Cura and PrusaSlicer are essential for converting 3D models into printable files. My GTX 1060 GPU accelerates the slicing process, making it faster and more efficient. Here are the parts and why I got them in this build: CPU: i7-6700 at 3.4GHz- Chosen for its strong performance in both single-threaded and multi-threaded tasks, which is essential for both gaming and 3D modeling. GPU: GTX 1060-6Gb- Provides excellent performance for gaming at 1080p with high settings and is also capable of accelerating rendering tasks in 3D software. 16GB Ram- Sufficient for multitasking, running multiple applications, and handling large 3D models without any slowdown. Storage: 256Gb SSD + 1 Tb HDD - The SSD ensures fast boot times and quick access to frequently used applications, while the HDD offers ample storage for games, large 3D model files, and other media. I boot with Windows 11 for its latest features, compatibility with a wide range of software, and enhanced security measures. By sharing the details of my build and its purposes, I hope to provide insight and inspire others in the community who might have similar interests. Whether you're a fellow gamer or a 3D printing enthusiast, let's engage and discuss the best ways to get the most out of our rigs!$974.96 -

My daughter wanted a better computer and since she helps me upgrade mine from time to time she wanted to build her own. We told her if she could keep it around 500.00 budget we'd help her, so we scoured forums and youtube videos for less expensive builds. We found Toasty Bros there, and they in turn directed us to microcenter where we found a very nice cpu/motherboard/ram combo. with the combo and new case we came in around $570. She got her wish and I got a great father-daughter moment to cherish the rest of my life. :D$574.95 -

I wanted a machine that could last me more than 5 years, and I am confident that this is the one. This machine build is mainly to get me more power for video editing and production as well as photography. I am starting to explore the world of Steam tho lol. I tried to get this machine ProArt as much as I could get it. Other than the case from NXZT (which is AMAZING) and the RAM, everything in this box is ASUS. I wanted to theme the box out will gold highlight, but I really like the decision to go with white for the case. Everything else I left black and the box looks clean AF. I did add a ThermalRight contact frame to this socket, and it has changed my life!!! Highly recommended. I may have also splurged a little when it came to the AIO with the Ryujin III, but........... The Delorean from Back to the Future looks FANTASTIC on it so it's a keeper.$3,299.89 -

First build ever using it for gaming and some SolidWorks when I need to work from home. Going to change case to something a little more tasteful and get cablemod stealth wire and extensions and just extra frill to make it look way better. The case is GREAT at keeping the components bathed in cool air, but it's just not the greatest looking case. Thinking about hardline water-cooling for the CPU and GPU that way I can keep the 7900X and 4090 cool and make the build look way cooler (If I do it right that is...) Microcenter makes all other electronics store second grade. Can’t wait till my next build.$3,344.93
