Wanting a top of the line PC since pubg was released recently I have been able to build my dream PC with the relatively the best parts money can buy. I can tell you there is no better feeling than being able to run and game at the highest setting with a constant+100 fps . This build is a celebration of minimalist design, combining high performance with a sleek, all-white aesthetic. The Intel Xeon W5-3435X, a 16-core powerhouse, is paired with an ASRock B550M Pro SE motherboard, ensuring robust performance for multitasking and professional workloads. The MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Gaming X Slim graphics card, with its triple fan design, provides excellent cooling and fits perfectly with the build’s white theme. The NZXT H9 Flow case offers ample airflow, keeping all components cool even under heavy loads, and the tempered glass panels showcase the build’s clean interior. Powering this build is a 650W semi-modular PowerSpec PSU, providing reliable and efficient power delivery. For storage, the Samsung 870 EVO SSD ensures fast boot times and quick access to data. Usage: I use my PC primarily for gaming, content creation, and general productivity tasks. The system handles everything smoothly, from playing graphically demanding games to running resource-intensive applications like video editing software. Things I Would Change: • GPU: If I had the budget, I would upgrade the GPU to a higher-end model to future-proof the build for upcoming game releases. • Storage: I might add more storage in the future, especially another high-capacity SSD, to accommodate more games and large files. • RGB Lighting: While the RGB lighting$1,138.92 -

I was able to build this PC because of a CPU + Board + RAM combo deal, and it was incredibly helpful since I was building around a $1,500 budget! (I actually managed to get in way under budget, which was a wonderfully welcome surprise) Originally, I optioned it with an AMD RX 6750 XT GPU, but have since upgraded to a RTX 3080 Ti Founder's Edition.$1,314.92 -

I've been trying to convince him to replace his 2016 16 inch Macbook Pro, but he really held off on the upgrade for a while. But, after trying to use the Macbook for heavy 4k video editing tasks in Final-Cut he realized that the laptop wouldn't cut it. So that was the very beginning of this ongoing project of a computer. The finished result is what you see here and it's probably one of the most challenging computers I have ever built. This was mainly because of the software situation, I underestimated the work you put in to get MacOS Ventura installed on a non Mac computer. But I am happy to say that it is incredibly stable (as long as he doesn't mess with it) and performs similarly to a $6000 Mac Pro. For the parts I opted for the i9 12900k because it was a huge upgrade from the 4 core i7 in his laptop, and it came in the best value (in my opinion) micro center bundle with the i9 motherboard and ram for only $400. I also went for an all Noctua cooling setup due to the quality, durability, longevity and most importantly whisper quiet operation as he does music production/recording in the same room as this beast. I also went for two separate 1tb drives to ensure ease of use and compatibility with a dual boot system. The 6800 from MSI was my first choice due to it's compatibility with Hackintosh and value for money when I bought it. I chose The Fractal North because my dad enjoys woodworking when he has the time, and it also has an absolutely incredibly professional yet unique look to it. The PC boots up to a boot menu where you can select which OS you are using (refer to image 18). And boots up relatively quick for a hackintosh (around 40 seconds). Everything in macos works except wifi and bluetooth at the moment, since his current wifi/bluetooth card is unsupported in macos. So we will likely add a broadcom chip which should be compatible out of the box with hackintosh (but you never know). I will update the part list if I add the chip and it works. My dad was extremely happy with the upgrade and I am glad that he is. There were many hurdles to overcome when troubleshooting issues and bugs, but after installing the correct Kexts and finalizing bios settings it was ready to go. I hope you all enjoy the build as much as we did, it's definitely one of my favorite builds I have ever put together.$1,309.92 -

Something like a 7800x3d would've been worth it in the competitive scene, but I still got a great deal with the microcenter bundle. It's currently running Ubuntu 24.04, but will add another M.2 SSD for Windows and gaming. Currently I'm participating in multiple scientific distributed computing projects with boinc, I have transcoded ripped blu rays (1080p so far) at a stable 500 fps to AV1 mkv's using ffmpeg (cuda hw accelerated). I plan to run an LLM locally, and want to see if i can run a 70B model without too much quantization, and compare to my old rig (core i7 3770, 16GB ram, GTX 1080). That only ran 13B models max. I responded, grinning widly. "I'll get you hooked up with this bundle, bro" Ryzen 7 7800x3d, G-Skill 6000MTS 32gb of ram, and a b550-e plus wifi chipset motherboard. "Look at this fundle, bro." Here’s a breakdown of why I chose each component and how it contributes to my setup: Gaming. I enjoy a variety of games, from AAA titles to indie gems. Some of my current favorites include "The Witcher 3," "Cyberpunk 2077," "Overwatch," "Fortnite," and "Minecraft." These games demand a solid GPU and CPU to run smoothly, and my setup handles them quite well. 3D Printing. I use software like Blender, Fusion 360, and Tinkercad for designing my 3D prints. The i7-6700 CPU provides the necessary processing power to handle complex 3D modeling tasks without lag. Programs like Cura and PrusaSlicer are essential for converting 3D models into printable files. My GTX 1060 GPU accelerates the slicing process, making it faster and more efficient. Here are the parts and why I got them in this build: CPU: i7-6700 at 3.4GHz- Chosen for its strong performance in both single-threaded and multi-threaded tasks, which is essential for both gaming and 3D modeling. GPU: GTX 1060-6Gb- Provides excellent performance for gaming at 1080p with high settings and is also capable of accelerating rendering tasks in 3D software. 16GB Ram- Sufficient for multitasking, running multiple applications, and handling large 3D models without any slowdown. Storage: 256Gb SSD + 1 Tb HDD - The SSD ensures fast boot times and quick access to frequently used applications, while the HDD offers ample storage for games, large 3D model files, and other media. I boot with Windows 11 for its latest features, compatibility with a wide range of software, and enhanced security measures. By sharing the details of my build and its purposes, I hope to provide insight and inspire others in the community who might have similar interests. Whether you're a fellow gamer or a 3D printing enthusiast, let's engage and discuss the best ways to get the most out of our rigs!$974.96 -

I built this computer with the NVIDIA GeForce 3060 Ti, Ryzen 7 CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD to create a versatile powerhouse that can handle both gaming and creative tasks with ease. As a gamer, I'm drawn to titles that demand high-performance hardware to fully immerse myself in their worlds. With this setup, I dive into the latest AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Call of Duty: Warzone, experiencing smooth gameplay and stunning visuals at high settings. The NVIDIA GeForce 3060 Ti ensures that I can enjoy these games at high resolutions with fast frame rates, delivering an immersive gaming experience. Beyond gaming, I'm also a content creator, producing videos and streaming gameplay on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. The Ryzen 7 CPU's multi-threaded performance allows me to edit videos smoothly and handle streaming tasks without any lag. The 16GB DDR4 RAM ensures that multitasking is a breeze, whether I'm editing videos, streaming, or browsing the web simultaneously. In hindsight, one potential upgrade could be increasing the RAM to 32GB for even smoother multitasking and future-proofing the system. Additionally, considering the fast-paced advancements in technology, I might have opted for a higher-tier GPU if budget allowed, to ensure longevity and better performance in upcoming games and applications. Overall, this build strikes a perfect balance between gaming performance and content creation capabilities, allowing me to pursue my passions with confidence and efficiency.$1,195.94 -

We told her if she could keep it around 500.00 budget we'd help her, so we scoured forums and youtube videos for less expensive builds. We found Toasty Bros there, and they in turn directed us to microcenter where we found a very nice cpu/motherboard/ram combo. with the combo and new case we came in around $570. I built this over the course of 5 months finding parts on sale. Performance-wise, this handles 4K 120Hz on everything I've thrown at it. Only times I scale back quality in games is if the GPU kicks up its coil whine a bit too much. Really stable FPS and benchmarking. Solid machine that should last years at High-Ultra in games. Mixed with 24GB VRAM being a productivity monster. Happy with the end result but I would have done a few things differently. An i7-14700K would have been a nice upgrade, but unnecessary for my use case. A bigger change would be opting for 2x32GB of RAM and/or slightly higher-spec'ed RAM (like 6000 CL30 or 6400 CL32). Aesthetically, I'm really happy with how the silver CPU cooler and tan Noctua fans look through the mesh side panel. If everything was black, you wouldn't notice any components inside and the silver+tan give it a subtle "pop" of character. But, if you're more into RGB than I am than going black on all components will be a nicer look and let your RGB shine.$2,929.90 -

I am a gamer, and I focus on graphics and smooth game play, so the games I play take up a lot of room and computing power. With a game library of over 1,000 games and constantly getting more, I have to keep adding and/or replacing parts to my rig. Anything from older Command and Conquer games, Mass Effect, Starcraft; to new hits like Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield, Destiny 2, Battlefield. With this in mind I am always looking at new gear and reviews (even when not planning an upgrade) so I am able to keep up with new games while making sure I can still play the old favorites. I am looking into the streaming field as well, just not sure how to start getting followers.$8,174.25 -

I built this PC to replace my previous computer which started out as a CyberPower PC pre-built machine but had been upgraded several times over the last few years. My PC before would run just about everything to some level, but some of the newer AAA titles struggled a little bit. I decided I would build a machine that would be able to keep up with more modern AAA titles at maxed out settings. I started by choosing a case and landed on the Asus ROG Strix Helios, and after making that decision, I decided that I would theme the rest of the machine around the Asus ROG line of products.$2,107.92 -

I have always wanted to build a PC since my freshman year in high school. All my friends either built their own or got a semi-complete build kit already. Now I am in my first year of college, I have finally saved up enough money to do it. The installation process went pretty smoothly, except I had to buy extension cables for the power supply because the stock cable wasn't long enough. Overall, everything went well and I enjoyed the building process.$1,549.94 -
