In the future I will add more storage if necessary. I would have used the Lian Li O11 case instead of this one but I liked how it turned out.$1,894.93 -

I don't do much gaming anymore, but my old build was 2015, and I literally could not play some of the more recent games even if I wanted to. The old build was still fine for most day-to-day stuff and I wanted another build that would go the distance. So here we are. My first build was 1998, and PC components have come a long way. I wanted something that could run Cyberpunk at 2k on max settings and still get over 60 FPS. I wanted something that I could hook up a top tier VR headset to without worries. The Lian Li components are super good, but they don't have great software support. Mostly, I would say that they are first rate components with second rate software running them. It often resets, and I can't update because of their file servers (or lack thereof). The Lian Li case is superb. The strimmer lighting looks great and is customizable. The CPU cooler is where the RGB software could be better. Even with the great cable management, the back of that case is STUFFED with cables, Lian Li USB controllers, internal USB hub. The fact that I put a RAID 10 SSD array in there didn't help with space. It seems like no mater what improvements are made with cable management, I'll find a way to fill it with cables! I was going with an ASUS 4080, but it was out of stock when I went to the store, so I settled for the Zotac. It's fine, but the RGB is about 3 years behind the RDG in the rest of the box. Even though it was 1200 bucks, I won't hesitate to return it if the 4080 super comes out in time. I may replace it with a 5000 series in a couple of years. My background is scientific computing, and this PC is about on par with the number of threads and memory that was in $20K servers I was using in 2010. I really like that it's super quiet, even with 6 fans. When its running full blast, its makes half the noise that my 2015 does. I'll probably try DnD next...but then will go back to checking my email! This PC specs out in the top 1% in Passmark. But 1% is a huge number of builds. Maybe next time I go ThreadRipper and Nivida XX90!$3,655.81 -

Along with anything else I may need to do on a computer. The future upgrades I see coming is adding the Lian-Li strimmer's for the 24 pin and 12 pin, and maybe 32 GB more of DDR5 ram. I have also added some of my personalization to it by adding bear-bricks in certain locations within the case.$3,259.84 -

I built this PC because i wanted to be able to play any game i wanted at 1440p Ultra settings with ease, while having a budget of about $2,400 dollars. I added some helpful tips here on some items if you plan to copy this build because this was my first ever PC build. I got all my tips from PC Builder from Jason on Youtube, his videos made me take a crack at building my first PC with confidence. Please share feedback if you would like! hope this can help someone out there if they plan to go for a team red combo (CPU and GPU) because it's amazing!$1,999.95 -

Fell hard for the game on console. With all future updates/move to PC exclusive. Decided to go all in with a dream build for the first one. Suspend the college savings for a bit and built a 4K gaming beast for around $4k. Got to love symmetry.$4,279.83 -

I built this absolute unit of a PC to handle pretty much anything I can throw at it with long term life in mind. Rather than build something that’s so obsolete that it’s tough to play new titles in two years, I can comfortably expect to game on this machine for a Considerable amount of time. Coupled with the Hyte Y60 case and LianLi SL140 & SL120v2 fans, it stays cool even through the toughest games on the highest graphics settings. I use it for GTARP on FiveM, Iracing, Numerous shooters, and even flight sims.$2,980.88 -
