IMPORTANT: HP All-In-One Quick Install Guide
This is a quick start guide for the installation of HP All-In-One Devices. Note that these instructions are intended to be generic and apply to all HP All-In-One Devices; however, they may not be precisely the same for each All-In-One. For additional information, consult the included documentation either on the disc or paper manual.
- Begin by removing the All-In-One from the box and verifying the package contents. Do not connect the All-In-One to the computer or to the power source at this time.
- Locate the included Installation CD and insert it in to the disc drive of the computer on which the All-In-One will be installed.
- A prompt will appear and ask to begin installation. Choose the “Install” option and follow the on-screen prompts.
If the setup CD does not install, go to Start » Computer (Windows 7/Vista) or Start » My Computer (XP) and double-click on the CD drive to begin setup.
- Follow the steps in the installation wizard. The program will advise when to connect the All-In-One to power and when to connect the USB cable. If the All-In-One is a wireless or wired network All-In-One, the setup disc will guide through the setup of the network.
