INFO: What is the Technical Start Menu?
Description: What is the new Technical Start Menu on Windows 8?
With Windows 8, the Start button that Windows users have become accustomed to is no longer featured on the operating system. It has since been replaced by the Modern User Interface or "tiles" screen. Windows 8, though, has a neat feature whereby the user can go to the very bottom left of the screen and right click where the Start Button used to be. By doing this, a menu will appear which has multiple options - this is known as the Technical Start Menu. This menu lists all needed operations of the Windows OS, such as Control Panel, Programs and Features, Disk Management, Device Manager, etc. This is extremely useful for troubleshooting and regular navigation on the OS.
