Scenes from the Micro Center Phoenix Grand Opening
Come for the crowds, stay for the giveaways, PC builds, and special guests.News

After months of anticipation, the doors to Micro Center's 30th store -- and Arizona's first -- are officially open. The Phoenix tech community has been asking for a location to call its own, and as of November 7, 2025, the new store at 4531 E. Thomas Road is ready to become the region's premier tech resource.
The day started with a ribbon cutting, but the first customers had already started lining up the afternoon before, hoping for one of the exclusive gift bags reserved for early customers.

In a Micro Center first, leading tech brands, including Intel, AMD, and MSI, set up vendor booths outside, offering product demos and giveaways, and giving Micro Center fans something new to experience as they waited for the doors to officially open.
The arrival of Micro Center in Phoenix isn't just about opening our 30th store; it's about establishing an in-person destination with this 35,000-square-foot location for PC builders, makers, and professionals who want to see, touch, and compare high-performance products and components before they buy.

Highlights from the November 7 Grand Opening include live PC builds from Austin Evans and Mr. Yeester at the in-store Knowledge Bar and a sweepstakes to win one of the custom PCs we've put together this week (in fact, our second PC build giveaway of the week). Exclusive Grand Opening deals include an additional 20% off on most Windows laptops and desktops, plus other Phoenix-only deals listed here.
A full listing of upcoming special events and guest appearances can be found here.
But before the Grand Opening...
Despite the massive crowds, this wasn't the first opportunity for tech enthusiasts to see Micro Center Phoenix. It was preceded by two days of VIP Early Access on November 5 and 6, which brought out its own outpouring of support from fans who came for an early peek, our customary free USB keys, and one of Micro Center's iconic custom mugs, available in two distinct Phoenix designs.
