Mask Requirements
In compliance with CDC guidelines, we began providing all associates with masks on April 13, 2020 and began providing all customers with masks on April 14, 2020. In order to enhance our safety measures, on April 23, 2020, we began requiring all Micro Center associates to wear a mask or face covering while at work. As we monitor the current situation, our top priority continues to be protecting our associates and customers, so effective May 8, 2020 we are asking that all Micro Center customers wear a mask or face covering as well. This does not apply to children under the age of 2 or customers who are unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition. For customers who do not have a mask or face covering, our greeter will provide you with one. You will be required to take the provided mask before entering the store. We greatly appreciate your cooperation with this new policy as we believe requiring a mask or face covering helps to protect every person in our store.

Face Shields
Customers in our Ohio stores who are medically or developmentally unable to wear a mask may obtain a full face shield from the greeter near the front entrance to the store and must wear the face shield while shopping at Micro Center.

In-Store Pickup
With increased demand for work from home products and social distancing, you may experience longer delays for in-store pickup orders. Until further notice, we unfortunately cannot guarantee orders will be ready for pick up in 18 minutes. We apologize and appreciate your patience and understanding as our associates work hard to take care of all customers. Orders placed after 6 p.m. will be processed the following day. This guideline is to allow associates to fulfill all current orders and to comply with curfew regulations. Please keep in mind, our in store pickup customers will need to use our text based waitlist as we are limiting the number of customers in our store. We recommend planning for additional time to pick your order.

Curbside Pickup
We are now offering curbside pickup. Please choose the option at checkout online before visiting the store. Once your order is ready to be picked up, please visit the store and check in with the greeter. You will be asked to provide your ID and the card used to place the order. You will remain in your car the entire time as an associate confirms your information and retrieves your order.

To eliminate crowds, lines and to adhere to social distancing, we are limiting the number of customers in the store at one time. If we have reached our customer limit, you will be asked to join our text-based waitlist before entering. To join the waitlist, please give your name and number to the greeter outside or use the QR code provided at the store. You will be asked to wait in your car and you will receive a text when it’s time to enter. Please plan for additional time to enter. We recommend arriving at least one hour before closing to ensure entry.

Service and Repair
Our service department will be providing a sanitation area to disinfect incoming service items as well as taking our precautions in following CDC guidelines to sanitize units as they come in. We are limiting the amount of service staff that are working at one time. Until further notice, our service and repair check-in process will be expedited, and we will not be providing our extended tech support consultations. Due to high volume, your repair may take longer than usual.

Restocking and Availability
Our team is working hard with our vendors and suppliers to restock as quickly as possible. We understand the dire need for products to learn, work remotely, and support our healthcare community during these ever-changing conditions. Please note due to the high demand for computers and monitors we have a temporary limit of 5 per customer. We want to ensure all of our great customers have access to these much-needed products and appreciate the understanding at this time.

Returns
We have limited the return of certain high-touch products that come into frequent, or extensive, contact with skin, or other surfaces known to retain the virus for extended periods. We actively follow the CDC recommendations for the cleaning and disinfecting of electronics when restocking a returned product, in addition to waiting 4 days before placing the item back for sale.

Our Associates
If any Micro Center associate feels uncomfortable coming to work, they will be allowed to stay home. We will have a medical assistant available to ensure the health of our associates when arriving for work. To protect all associates, we are providing quarantine pay and confirmed diagnosis pay in addition to regular paid time off, and leaves of absence. In an effort to show our extreme gratitude, we are investing $1,000,000 in our associates that work with us through this challenging and uncertain time.
