Bio: I have been working at Micro Center since January of 2012, and I have been in the Custom PC Department almost the entire time. My first computer was a hand-me-down in the form of my uncle's Commodore 64, and between that and the Apple IIs in the library of my elementary school, I learned enough BASIC to earn myself several trips to the principal's office. My first build was in 2007, and things have gotten immensely easier over the course of however many dozens of machines I've assembled since. I was chosen to be a brand representative for nVIDIA in 2014, and since then I've helped drive sales and provide brand-specific advice and support to numerous customers. One of my favorite things about working with customers is that you can be as enthusiastic about PC building as you like with no fear of judgment, and you can also help others feel seen and appreciated for what's historically been seen as something of a niche hobby. When I'm not here selling components or off spending time with my daughter, I'm typically working on one of several podcasts, tinkering with my 3D printers, chipping away at a few cosplay projects in anticipation of the next con, learning new recipes, or putting in time in one of my favorite games.
