JumpStart is a one-hour virtual session with a certified 3D printing expert who guides you through unboxing, setup, and software basics. After purchasing the service online, you’ll receive a welcome email to schedule your appointment—no Micro Center account required.

During this 1-hour JumpStart virtual session, you can expect the following:

• Operation of your new printer!
• An overview of slicer settings such as infill, layer height, supports, and much more!
• Tips and tricks for getting your prints coming out as desired!
• Material and filament overviews.
• Answers to your 3D printing questions and concerns!

No. JumpStart is available whether you purchase your printer at Micro Center or from another retailer. If you buy your Bambu Lab printer in-store, the session fee is discounted to $99.99; otherwise, the full price is $199.99.

Once you complete your purchase, we’ll send you a confirmation email with a scheduling link. Simply choose a convenient date and time for your one-hour video call, and we’ll send an invite with all the details.

To schedule an appointment for the virtual session, you will need to provide your first and last name, e-mail address, reference number for the JumpStart purchase (at the top of the receipt), and Bambu Lab printer model. Once you have selected a time for the virtual session, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to use on the day of the virtual session.

You will need a stable internet connection, your Bambu Lab printer (unboxed but not yet set up), and a computer or tablet for the video call. We recommend clearing a workspace and having any included printer accessories (tools, cables, filament) nearby.

Absolutely. Whether it’s troubleshooting bed adhesion, filament loading, or advanced software settings, your specialist will address your specific concerns in real time to ensure you leave the session confident and ready to print.

You’ll receive follow-up resources—like FAQs and troubleshooting guides—and you can always reach out to Micro Center for additional support.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled virtual session without prior notice or cancellation, the service will not be eligible for a refund. Prior to your scheduled virtual session, you can reach out to our Remote Technical Support Team team and they will be able to reschedule or cancel your virtual session. You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
