This is a gaming PC I built for a friend that I ended up keeping as a side rig mainly when friends visit or for other family members to do office work. I tried to obtain parts as cheaply as possible and took advantage of Microcenter's great open box deals. Got really lucky that I had upgraded my GPU before the pandemic situation.$741.95 -

Forged in the beating heart of a dragon, the shedstation contains the latest bleeding edge tech from last gen. It mostly runs warcraft and dota and sits on a fully custom 3D printed modular PC case. Need to get me a Keychron K3 though, and I need to find a spot for my CRT and 4K monitor. Also currently using a custom Mouse + Keypad contraption for multiboxing classic wow$1,134.95 -

I played on a gaming laptop for awhile but it was time to build something for myself and call it my own. I built it to be able to play with my friends who also built their own PCs. Also there was quite the incentive when I realized the greater performance you get on a PC when compared to a console, especially when playing cross-platform games. I play Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, and Destiny 2 mainly. It definitely was a fun time putting it all together with the help of my roommates. I can definitely tell the difference from my Xbox One and my gaming laptop (which had a 1660ti in it). It runs very smooth and boots up super quick with the M.2 drive. At first I was a tad hesitant to get an AMD card because Nvidia is the top dog but so far, I've had no regrets as it has proven itself worthy for giving my the frames I want in games.$1,457.87 -

This is my first PC build I mainly built it because I've always wanted to build a pc and game on one after such a long time of wanting this year I decided and end up with this build. I love playing Apex Legends and look forward to playing the new far cry game. I would definitely like to upgrade my GPU to something more powerful because I am looking to do some video editing and animation, also would love to upgrade my cooling system to water cooling so I can overclock, I love tweaking my PC for more power and efficiency. Thank you for your time and game on.$1,219.92 -

This story goes back to 2019 when I had a constantly revolving wish list of parts for most of the year as my PC at the time was a budget build from 2014 with a GTX 650 and i3 3rd gen. Gaming wasnt horrible as long as i played on medium to low settings or alternatively played on lower resolutions. Eventually I got tired of it and after graduating college and working a year or two I decided it was time to upgrade. Febuary 2nd 2020, I decide to pull the trigger and made an afternoon trip to MicroCenter and came back with this $1000 build and assembled it before dinner. I added an M.2 SSD as well from amazon to the build. This computer is easily 10 times better than the former one. Across multiple seasonal Steam sales i had bought the Borderlands series, the Bioshock series, the Witcher series, Dishonored 1 and 2, and the Darksouls series but never got to enjoy lag free gaming experience... until now! This gaming build coupled with a 144hz Freesync monitor has changed everything to say the least. I did my best to OC as much as I could but I was unable to get past 3200mhz ram speed on my 3666mhz DIMMs and a CPU clock of 4ghz. If i had more budget i would have gone with 4 channel ram setup and a AIO cooler to avoid the heating up my room so much. Regardless, now I can finally play Minecraft with fancy graphics in peace once and for all.$977.93 -

It handles everything, from gaming to personal business to moderator duty at a couple of online forums to general browsing. The name "Sable-6" designates that this is the sixth generation of this computer, starting way back in the socket 939 days with a 3200+. All of my builds evolve as I upgrade as I can afford it which is true for this one. The sixth generation originated when I upgraded from a Ryzen 1600 and a B350 mobo to my current 3600X and X570 board. Since that time I have upgraded the case, PSU, GPU, storage, AiO cooler, and monitors. I am still adding to my rig here and there as there is always room for improvement. My monitor setup is a bit of a waste for the most part as I primarily play Battlefield 4 but I had always wanted a 3+1 setup. **Note: My actual motherboard is an ASRock X570 EXTREME4 WiFi AX but it is not a choice below. My actual RAM is 4x8GB XPG Spectrix D41 RGB 3200MHz. My all-in-one cooler is a SilverStone Technology PF240-ARGB Permafrost 240mm All in One Multi-Chamber Addressable RGB CPU Liquid Cooler. My storage solutions are as follows: C drive - Samsung 970 Evo M.2 (256GB), D drive "Games" - Corsair p1 M.2 (1TB), E drive "programs" - Samsung 860 EVO SSD (500GB), F drive "Downloads" - WD Green HDD (2TB). The monitor setup is three Sceptre E255B-1658A 24.5" 165Hz monitors, a single ancient NEC MultiSync 19" monitor, and all are mounted on a VIVO Quad LCD Monitor Desk Stand.$1,249.93 -

This build is one of 40 that a customer purchased for a startup gaming lounge. The parts were chosen very carefully to fit the customer's budget since a high volume was needed.
