I mainly play FPS games, but it also runs assassins creed perfectly. Not a bad build at all, I upgraded the CPU cooler to an AIO from corsair (icue H150i). Honestly very fun and great time building, can't wait to do another!

I wanted to try PC gaming since all I would hear from people was that it was a way better experience. Thus after watching multiple youtubers such as Jayztwocents and TechSource I was inspired to build my first ever PC. It has evolved now since I'm hooked with building so now I find any excuse to get my hands on my pc. Here are some pictures of the updated state of my entire set up since I have tried hard to not just have a good looking pc but also a good looking setup. I used by two favorite colors for lighting purple and red. I love star wars and one of my favorites was the red sith troopers from the last installment. The rest of the game room has some starwars stuff such as the white boba fett helmet, the lightsaber, and the R2D2 popcorn maker! Thus the theme for the pc/setup build. I'm currently rocking a ryzen 7 3800x and Powercolor Red dragon 5600xt. My hopes are to upgrade the gpu and keyboard next. If you have any keyboard recommendations let me know!

This PC was built for me to start my Youtube page in 2021, which will be called Davids Dime Time. I am currently playing Tomb Raider and will be starting Assassin's Creed Valhalla soon. Build is almost complete, just need the ASUS EK 3080 GPU and waiting for Lian Li to release the AL120 Uni Fans to complete the build. I call it "Da Fish Tank", because like a fish tank, I have fed it my money and look at it all day. LOL

Over the years I have replaced video cards, RAM, hard drives individually but I've never built the whole computer from start to finish. The last time I purchased or even upgraded a computer was at least 8 years ago. A lot changed but many of the basics still remain true. Before buying all of the parts I began watching videos on youtube to research, parts, trends and favored brands. I watched guys like JaysTwoCents to ground myself in the do's and don'ts of building as well as what to do once the computer is built. For three months watched video after video and then began planning my purchase. I've always been a fan of AMD. Even when their trustworthiness wasn't as quantifiable as it is now I would buy their products and never regretted it. My AMD focused build has been great and I'm excited to show off my first full build. I wanted a build which would take my gaming experience up a notch or two while providing an better overall pc experience during general usage. I'm very happy with its performance and built it with the ability to upgrade this build in the future rather than rebuilding from the ground up. I could upgrade the CPU, GPU or even dabble in some lite water cooling. Currently I play a lot of Pathfinder:Kingmaker and Stellaris when I'm in a Grand Strategy mood. In hindsight, I am something of a minimalist, I didn't feel the need for lots of RGB (can get a bit gaudy) but after seeing my GPU light up along with the lighting on my motherboard... I might have considered playing with the lighting a bit more. Or gone for more more power in the GPU with the 5700XT. Did you hear that? Sounded like Tim Allen growling in far off distance. lol

Prices shown for items I can't find on Micro Center's website are what I paid back in 2018 when I originally built this system. This build is a couple years in the making for me. I started out finally deciding to get back into PC gaming after nearly 6 years off. During college I bought and gamed on an old Gateway FX gaming laptop, purchased new in 2008. I used that up until it eventually died (GPU gave out) in 2014. Between 2014 and March 2019, I made due with an old PS3 and borrowing my girlfriends laptop when I needed a PC at home. So, tax season 2019 rolled around and I had a modest return that I decided to put towards PC components. This build hasn't changed for the most part since its inception with the exception of the case, GPU, and PSU. My original build was in a Thermaltake Core V1 with an Asus ROG Strix RX 570 and EVGA B3 550W PSU. SFF PCs had intrigued me for a while (hence the original "small" 22L case), but when 2020 came around I knew it was time to upgrade the case and go even smaller - enter the Sliger SM550. Case This case is extremely well made and the attention to detail made building inside of the small enclosure a pleasure. Cable management was definitely helped by changing to the EVGA GM 550W PSU, which comes with shorter than standard cables. I did quite a bit of digging around on the internet prior to building in this case, so that helped immensely when it came time to execute. Everything has a specific place and orientation to fit in, so as long as you follow the correct sequence of part assembly, it really isn't any more difficult than a larger case. The current setup I have is vented side panels on both sides and the case fans configured to exhaust. CPU This was, and still is, a great value CPU for a variety of tasks. Aside from gaming, I generally use my PC for work or internet browsing. This CPU provides more than enough power for these tasks, and overclocks quite nicely. Cooler I used the original cooler (Wraith Stealth) for quite some time, including in my initial build in the SM550. While it could mostly keep up with my 4.0GHz overclock, I ultimately decided to upgrade to the Noctua NH-L9a. The Noctua cooler is much better at handling the 2600 than the stock Wraith Stealth cooler. With a mild undervolt (1.250VRM,1.200SOC) the peak temps never go above 76C. RAM Unfortunately, this RAM has not aged well. Not to say it doesn't still work the same as on day one - but the price I paid back in March 2019 was significantly higher than current prices. I may upgrade this in the future to a faster kit. MOBO The ASUS B450-i Gaming is a great motherboard. All of the connectivity and features I needed and wanted, plus WiFi for when the new smaller size PC travels with me. Storage This build started out with just the 250GB M.2 drive. This filled up much faster with 2019 games than my old drives did back when I was gaming in 2010. I had a temporary fix by harvesting the hard drive from my old laptop, but I ultimately replaced that HDD with a 512GB SanDisk SSD I picked up on sale at Micro Center. No complaints here. GPU Yes, the RX570 is an old card. It works fantastically for the gaming I want to do (1080p60) for my couch gaming setup. I am looking into a moderate upgrade to the 1660ti or similar in the next few months to try to get into 1440p or reduced settings 4k gaming. Since originally finishing this build, I've upgraded to a Sapphire RX 5600 XT. This upgraded turned out to be much less straightforward than I anticipated - everything said this GPU should fit in the SM550, but ultimately there was contact between the side panel mount and the shroud on the GPU. I'm disappointed I didn't notice before I scuffed the shroud a bit, but it is hidden when the PC is assembled. Once I got the GPU in place and attempted to put the side panel back on, I found that the pins for the side panels protruded beyond the mount by about 1/8". This required a quick update to the shroud to add some clearance in the form of a well placed 13/64" hole. Once that was complete, the GPU installed without issue! After running several performance tests, I found that I was receiving very low performance from my GPU, as well as my SSDs. Ultimately, I had to completely wipe and reinstall windows to achieve proper performance. I have paired this system up with an Anne Pro 2 in black, a Corsair Dark Core RGB mouse, Corsair HS70SE wireless headphones, and an AOC CU34G2X 1440p Ultrawide monitor. CPU temp at idle: 41.0C CPU temp under load: 76.0C CPU OC to 4.0GHz GPU temp at idle: 40.0C GPU temp under load: 68.0C

This was suppose to start out as a starter gaming rig for play Subnatica: Below Zero at 1080p in mind and i would upgrade as time passes. It started out with a RX 580 for the graphics then later upgrade to RX 5600 XT. This rig is ready to play Cyberpunk 2077 and GodFall without any trouble when they come out and be able to stream with out taking too much of a performance hit. What I hope to change later is to add some more Corsair RGB fans, RAM, and strips. You can't go wrong with more RGB add some cable mods because the 24-pin cable is to close to the front fans and won't bend into the back of the case anymore than it has. Some needed upgrade is bigger storage. I want to have a large ssd storage for large open world game to reduce loading time. That and the hard drive I'm using is almost filled.

I call this pc break through beacause its my breakthrough into pcs and also because my case has an angular design that reminds me of a breakthrough. By the way my name is actually mayank but my dads name is rathna. I built this pc because I was bored during quarantine and i was watching bitwit a phenomenal pc builder and said to myself its time i try building a pc. I watched a lot of youtubers that kept on talking about micro center as computer heaven so i went and saw the locations and sadly there isnt a micro center in florida. So i bought parts from newegg, amazon, and the micro center web store to craft my awesome pc. It took me around 4 days to build it and it was so much fun. Thankfuly i didnt need to troubleshoot and it booted the first try. I use the pc as a workstation for creating games ,video editing, and for school. I am a middle schooler and I have a youtube channel with my brother. If I could i would probably add a an aio and waited for the b550 launch to get the asus rog b550f gaming . Also i would probably grab an rx 5700xt but now that all these rumors are coming up about rdna 2.0 and nvidias rtx 3000 line up of gpus i think im going to wait for amd and nvidia to spill the beans This was a huge upgrade from my old pc with a Intel i3 3rd gen running on integrated. Currently I have another project, building my dream setup and this awesome pc is the first step. My dream is to go to micro center one day and with the 500 dollars my parents would probably get convinced to take me to the one in duluth. L
