It can easily play most games thrown at it in 1080p and 1440p. E-sports titles will run flawlessly at ultra frame rates (this can easily handle Fortnite, Valorant, League of Legends, CSGO, GTA5, Minecraft, etc.) and really any new AAA titles will to be run at high for a 60 FPS experience. This computer can also play cyberpunk 2077.$1,287.93 -

I built Aurora Borealis originally to replace my console as the 30 fps in destiny started giving me headaches, I primarily play Destiny 2 or Elder Scrolls Online or the occasional game of call of duty with friends, I do stream some as well, i tend to have issues with quality of the stream if im playing Destiny and call of duty but other games I don't have too many problems with. The cpu I'm using is an i5 9400f that is just a stand in until i can afford an i9 9900k, the motherboard is a gigabyte z390 aorus pro wifi which i dont plan on upgrading anytime soon, I'm running 16gb of Gskill Trident z rgb ram clocked at 3200mhz, my case is the Lian Li o11 dynamic, my cpu cooler is just a cooler master hyper t4 I had from a previous build, the graphics card is an EVGA gtx 1070 (the blower style i originally planned on watercooling but my budget forbade that), for the power supply I went with the Gskill ripjaws PS850P 850w since I didn't want to have to upgrade the psu later, I currently have 2 SSDs(non nvme but 2.5in sata unfortunately) and 2 HDDs totaling to around 4.5tb, I have 3 corsair LL120s I plan to move them back to the top when time permits, 3 of the arctic 120s at the top currently and 2 on my cpu cooler. As for my upgrade path I already said the cpu, and I want to get some more LL120 fans so they all match as well as get some sleeved cables(originally planned to sleeve them myself but couldn't find wiring diagrams for my psu, if someone happens to find it let me know because I still want to sleeve my own cables), I hope to get either an RTX 3070 or 3060 later on, update to an nvme m.2 ssd for my boot drive to remove some of the cable mess, I might get another 16gb kit of trident z memory, I need proper led strips as I repurposed some cheap automotive leds that are controlled from a tiny remote, once I upgrade the gpu I am going to make another acrylic backplate as the one I have already made will more than likely not fit, I plan on getting an aio liquid cooler as well, I might remove my homemade decals and make some new ones but I'm not sure of the theme of the decals I want just yet or more specifically the font for the word aurora. at some point I want to make a custom loop system for Aurora with either light purple or blue pastel coolant. I have 3 different monitors and before anyone says anything I did it on purpose because they each have a purpose left=1440p for content creation, middle=high refresh rate 1080p gaming, right=small display for when I'm streaming old gamecube games. I have the razer Nari essential headphones, blackwidow lite with orange switches, and I do plan on making some resin keycaps, as well as a corsair Dark core pro mouse. I do have a desk boom mic but for the life of me I can't find the box so I don't know exactly what it is. I ended up adding extra dust filters since my computer is near my workshop. It also has an added external power button that I put on the far left of my desk. sidenote:I'm not a great photographer so don't expect too much there.$1,107.91 -

Built it since my older computer was 8 years old, figured it was time to upgrade since many of the games I play (Valorant and triple AAA titles) have to be played on low settings. Thinking about upgrading my graphics card asap as everything else is updated except that due to budget. Hopefully I can add more flare as time goes and make it vomit rainbows lol$1,197.91 -

Stay home and stay healthy. The standard HD will be removed and replaced with additional SSD as my steam account has over 100 games now. The PC temperatures are OK. Battlefield 5 in Ultra CPU max 72C - GPU 68C. Very happy with my build, and very happy with Micro-center customer service. If this is your first build, congratulations. First step to greatness :-) Part selection can be made on Microcenters PC builder. Print it out and provide it to the store employee that will be helping with part picking. Ask the employee questions in regards your build if you have, and ask for possible PC part advise. Assemble parts and build it. Easy steps, baby steps no rush. Motherboard, CPU, air cooler and ram. AIO can be mounted later. Check youtube and forums if you have questions or you are not sure how to. Stick it in to the case carefully, no need worry about cables yet. It was easier for to install some cables now and run the in the back before power supply install. Yes the cables were that hardest part of the PC build for me. The little cables to the led and on/off, but few youtube guides and it was done correctly. Cable management in the back is recommended. Makes it look nice and easier to work on in the future. The GPU install is easy, and extra fans if needed. Hope you will reach POST screen. If not, make sure your GPU monitor cable is connected to the right port, and the power supply is ON!!! Game on !!!!$2,054.89 -

The main use for this rig will Freelance UX/UI Design with a little bit of gaming as well. I've been a Mac user for 15 years and only used PC off and on to casually game. Now that I work-from-home almost exclusively and 2012 was the last time you could buy an upgradable Macbook Pro, I've decided to jump ship and move to something I can actually upgradable and more powerful. I'm very pleased with this setup, it has lots of power, memory, and storage. I am able to have tons of design applications and browser windows open with no performance issues. Now I just need to get used to Window's CTRL vs Mac's CMD which is in the same spot as ALT. The first day using this for my design work I hit ALT+Z about 400 times which brings up Geforce Experience overlay. LOL I built this computer using Micro Center's Custom PC Builder, reserved my parts online, and picked up my parts hours later. Pretty cool being able to put together a complete build and pick up your parts the same day. The Custom PC Builder has compatibility filters so it only shows parts that will work together based on your selections. Although build this computer myself because I really enjoy the building process. For a small fee, Micro Center offers a building service which they will put together the hardware, and make sure it posts. For a bit extra cost they can even install Windows, appropriate drivers, and make sure it's up and running before you pick it up. You could literally pick out your parts on a lunch break and pick up a working computer after work, they just need a 4-hour window to build it.$3,227.88 -
