Hello, i built this pc with parts all from Microcenter in Marieta Georgia. On this pc I play rainbow six siege, minecraft, world of warships, and Call Of Duty Modern Warfare. I know this build probably isn’t gonna win because there are gonna be builds way cooler than mine but i’m giving it a shot. In the future i plan on replacing my 2060 super with a 1080ti, i plan on adding a 500gb Nvme SSD, a x570 mother board, a ryzen 7 3700x, a modular psu, is cable mod extensions and a NZXT case.

I built this PC because I desperately wanted to enter the world of PC gaming. Two of my good friends had PCs and all I wanted was to be able to play with them. I purchased parts a few at a time and received some as gifts because well, money doesn't grow on trees. (Also I purchased all my parts at MicroCenter <3)After purchasing my final part just after christmas, I finally got to build my PC. After watching build videos for months on youtube leading up to this, I built the PC flawlessly except it would not turn on due to a faulty cable extension. I use this PC primarily for gaming, and play games like Destiny 2, GTA 5, Minecraft, Ark Survival Evolved, and a few more. If I was to upgrade something, it would probably be my GPU. While the card is amazing, it meets the bare minimum for ray-tracing. I often struggle to keep up with my friends in game. Additionally, I would also like to purchase another 16gb of RAM from corsair to total 32gb in my system. Winning this competition would be largely helpful considering I cannot currently afford to upgrade my GPU or my RAM.

  Built up as a fun 1080p gaming machine with mid-tier components (for 2020). Typical games are Sim Racing titles such as... Built up as a fun 1080p gaming machine with mid-tier components (for 2020). Typical games are Sim Racing titles such as Assetto Corsa, iRacing, Project Cars 2; Battle Royales, and The Division 2 (with cool lighting effects supported by iCue). Ultimately will be Twitch streaming my racing career. Halfway through piecing it together I realized that I had a lot of Corsair components (case, PSU, rgb lights) I went ahead with the HD series RGB fans over the case-included stock fans and the newly released A100 CPU air cooler (dropped Ryzen 3600 temps from stock cooled 45C idle to 26C idle!) to complement my K63 TKL board and Nightsword and XL sized desk mat. Latest components to the build include the add-on LS100 kits for very cool, smooth lighting effects to complement the original RGB strips. Along the way I was inspired to add the LS100 strips directly to my GPU support tower not as subtle lighting, but making it full up-front and visible. The 275R Airflow case is lightyears better than my old 2008 Newegg case, with way better cable management and expansion options. The mesh front, top, and PSU are easy to clean and keeps the case relatively dust-free.

I have a wide range of games I play, some as simple as Garry's Mod all the way to something unplayable without a ridiculous PC like Star Citizen. Only thing I'd change is the case, no room for a large modular PSU and the drive tray at the same time so for the time being I've ditched the HDD's and am running on only the two M.2 SSD's. I'm planning out another build for a buddy of mine which will essentially be a more polished version of my original with the changes I would've made, going with a Fractal Design Meshify S2 for that one.
