After several months of WFH with my woefully under-powered work laptop, I decided to build my first custom PC. I needed something that wouldn't choke on complex spreadsheets, but I also wanted a machine with some gaming chops. I didn't need anything high-end since I mostly play Dead Cells these days, but I did want the option to play more demanding titles. Although the PowerColor RX 5700 OC is perfectly adequate for my needs, I wish I had gotten an ASUS ROG Strix card (purely for the logo and the RGB).

I built my first SFF PC back in 2014 when I was travelling between my home and school in different cities. This was with a i5 4670K and GTX970! A few years after I graduated, I figured it was time to upgrade since it wasn't running the newest games as well as I'd like. So after some research about the state of the market and a lot of inspiration from Optimum Tech (love his work), I decided on a NCase M1 for its cooling potential and good looks! Since putting this build together, I've beaten Cyberpunk 2077, Metro Exodus, Borderlands 3, RDR2, and currently I'm working through Elden Ring.
