Found someone local selling computer components for $250 for CPU+MB+RAM+CPUCooler+GPU and ended up picking up a Cooler Master TD500 Mesh and the power supply seperately in order to get everything together. This will be setup for someone who has been looking to start using a computer and of course having the GPU will be able to play some games that is age appropriate for them. Their parents were looking to buy a cheap computer and this build came out to be a lot less than their set budget (was 700).$480.00 -

It plays everything I ran on it perfectly, but it does kinda heats up to around 80 degrees while under load because I am only using a stock CPU cooler from AMD. I just purchased a AIO CPU water-cooler. Hopefully it will alleviate this heating issue. Other than that, I don't have any issue with it. The FPS is great. It constantly hits 100FPS for most games at 2k resolution/high graphic setting. When I turn the graphic setting down to mid, it would hit 200+FPS.$1,575.95 -

Built because old system would not take Windows 11 and the graphics card was not sufficient for Bethesda's upcoming title Starfield. The case is large enough to take my DVD player and to "hide" most of the drives "under" the motherboard. With four fans (3 intake and 1 exhaust) it has plenty of cooling for the CPU and Graphics card. Moterboard WiFi antenna included has two "micro" coax connectors and cable is too short for good under-desk placement of tower. Top has the on-off button, color mode button, audio ports and 2 USB 3 type A ports. Top ports are USB 3.0 but inside is not blue. Gray on black writing is not a favorite due to lack of contrast.$1,124.94 -

I started conceptualizing my build about a year before I actually started buying the components. I worked on a budget, did hours of research, talked to experts and finally realized my plans during Covid when I turned 13 years old. Because stores were closed for Covid, I had to buy the parts over the internet - and even almost got scammed on my graphics card. Something was fishy to me so I cancelled the order and thankfully didn't lose anything. The ultimate dream was to have an RTX 3080, but it was way above my budget because it was the time when everyone was buying graphics cards to mine for crypto. I settled on a 2060 and honestly wasn't disappointed. It's been 2 years since my build and I have done a few upgrades - including picking up some PSU RGB extension cables from MicroCenter and a recent upgrade to a RTX4070TI which I am excited about. My next upgrade will probably be to convert to a water cooling system. I really like the RGB look of my computer and will always look to add more somehow. I built this computer for both gaming and school work. I play Minecraft, CSGO, GTA V, APEX Legends, Wolfenstein and a few other games.$1,059.93 -

This build was done as a final refresh of a workstation that is based on socket AM4 and using dd4 ram. At the time of writing, the prices of ddr4 ram, ssd storage, and even graphics cards have all dropped significantly. So it was time to hit up Micocenter and make this happen. This build is about a true split between 50% photo editing (work) and 50% running games at 3440x1440 (ultrawide monitor) resolution.$1,769.91 -

This build is intended for gaming, and it does it with ease. Things I needed to do: I needed to use a longer screwdriver to install the CPU cooler, as the one that came with it was not enough for me, update BIOS so the CPU would work, and adjust the memory speed. I did notice that the SSD was not showing up on the BIOS, however when installing Win everything was fine.$1,504.91 -

Very fortunate to have received a 2060 at msrp, and was originally planning on using an i7 but went with an i9 as the i7 was out of stock. It has been seven years since I built my last PC and it felt like the time to upgrade, especially with some normalization in GPU prices. I went with AMD to take advantage of the new AM5 socket, with the hope of a future CPU upgrade.
