This is the PC build that Austin Evans put together in his THIRD PERSON PC Build Challenge video. Austin used a custom backpack setup with a drone racing VR headset and a GoPro camera to see himself in third-person! Because the camera is shoulder-mounted, it is a bit unsteady, which adds to the difficulty of assembling this PC. If you're going to build a new PC, we'd recommend trying it first-person before you level up your difficulty like this! These parts were chosen to give Austin the best chance for success. Do you think he succeeded? What do you find most difficult about building your own custom PC? Check out his video below to see if Austin was able to complete this build in third-person! I needed to get PC built for my daughter who has become a great gamer. She started with her PS4 playing fortnite and other games that was able to play using that platform. When she noticed the the real great players uses a PC specifically built to handle extreme gamers, we decided it's time for her to get one She started practicing using the mouse and keyboard to play fortnite connected to her PS4. Once she got comfortable, I asked her "Nyobia" to research gaming PC 's so we can get an idea of how much it will cost. I also asked people I knew were gamers for their input. We were now ready to build our own PC. Went to microcenter and was fortunate to speak with two of their workers Shaun and Maurice. After a brief conversation with Shaun he suggested I have a professional build one for many reasons. I agreed after thinking and weighing the pros and cons. Shaun directed me to Maurice and I told him what we needed. I have him the specs given to me and he compared them to what microcenter had in comparison. I gave him my budget and away he went. He explained everything to me in detail. He offered his suggestions and once we gathered up what's needed he save me a couple hundred bucks. Maurice also made it so Nyobia can start streaming when she is ready. The outcome ifs fantastic. Nyobia is ecstatic loving every minute of her new gaming PC. The colors superb, speed remarkable and it also looks great. This will last a while ABC's during the time of upgrades are neccessary I will go to microcenter to her it done.

After using my 3rd gen i7(3770k) paired with a R9 290X for so long, it was finally time for an upgrade. I could no longer wait for a new generation to come out and so I pulled the trigger for an AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, paired with a EVGA RTX 2060 KO Ultra. I plan to do the step up program to get a RTX 3070 in the future but for now, this build as a whole exceeds what I was previously using. I would consider this build to be all-around: gaming, future streaming, and video editing.

And truthfully, I've never ever built one completely from scratch. I've tinkered and upgraded, but never a full on build. I built this computer to play RTX games like Control, other third person action games, FPS games of all kinds, and those "walking simulators" like Firewatch and What Remains of Edith Finch. I LOVE a great game story. I mostly play PC games like Destiny 2 and Deliver us the Moon... as well as fun VR games like Half-Life: Alyx & Beat Saber. I also love to stream with my family with games like Davigo VR, Fall Guys, Minecraft, Overwatch, Fortnite, Splitgate, Among Us, and others! Our Twitch channel is BurtonFamGaming. This rig is a gaming, VR, streaming PC... mostly for me (Dad), but also for the whole family (only... with Dad's permission of course. Only I have the password) :-D If I could go back, I might have waited a few months so I could purchase a 3080... but oh well. :-) I researched this for most of quarantine before finally building it about 4 weeks ago... so frankly, there's not much I would change about how I built it. The ONLY thing I wish I had done was perhaps get an X570 board or the ROG Strix B550-E so I'd get that Gen 2 Type C front header. I also plan to upgrade to 32 gigs of ram before long... but besides that, I'm really happy with it!

This PC was originally made for gaming but turned into my everything rig such as photo editing, professional work (teletherapy), and light streaming. I play Tarkov, League, CSGO, Apex when I have time. I was inspired by Bitwit to make my build aesthetic and settled on a black and white color scheme. I started off with a red color scheme with a 3600, a MSI Ventus 2060, and a cheapo ASRock x570 board all in a NZXT H510. Kyle's videos had me slowly upgrading each part as I became more knowledgeable of PC parts. I love how far it has come (check the last pic for what it used to look like).

However, this is now turned into my daily PC (still use my MacBook Pro tho) and I'm trying to get better at FPS with keyboard and mouse....Its definitely going to take some time haha I decided to opt out on the NZXT Liquid Cool and save $250...I'm debating if liquid cooling is really necessary as my PC is constantly running around 50*. Since this was my 1st ever PC I went all out & with my cousins help, put all this together. So far it’s been quite the experience. First the picture quality is RIDICULOUS! I’ve personally never experienced gaming with this level of quality. The games I started with were games I bought on sale from steam which included Doom Eternal, Halo Master Chief edition, Blasphemous, Resident Evil 2, & Metro Exodus all which I’ve never played. Since Ghost of Tsushima came out I’ve made 3 YouTube video Walkthroughs so far. Editing is something I really want to do so I’ve been trying to record for the sole purpose of getting comfortable in front of the camera & working through the editing software. My imagination wants to run but my skills aren’t there to match right now but one day. I’m Ivan Estrada in YouTube if anyone wants to look. Thanks for reading!

I built this setup to more comfortably game and work for long hours at a time. Before, I was gaming on a 60 hz TV which had horrible input lag and was super limiting. Now that I have a 1440p 144hz monitor, I can really take advantage of that true PC gaming power! I play various games and also create digital content. I normally enjoy FPS games like Apex Legends and Warzone, but I have been wanting to get into more RPG-esque games as well. When I'm creating, I use the Adobe suite, more specifically Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere. This build has made my workflow so much more efficient and powerful.

I use this PC for gaming, streaming, photoshop, and premiere pro in hopes to actually try to make some money off streaming (My Twitch is PiddleTV). First, let's start off with the gem of the build... My Ryzen 9 3900X. This CPU, although loves to suck power, is a BEAST! Multitasks effortlessly, runs decently cool considering its power draw, and rarely ULTRA FAST. I have it overclocked to 4.4GHz on all 12 cores and could go higher if necessary. Next, perhaps the most underrated part of my build is my motherboard. From ASRock, the B550M Steel Legend is a Budget Badass! Easy overclocking, 2 M.2's, plenty of SATA ports, and great RGB lighting on the board too. This MoBo is by far one of my favorite pieces of my entire build, does everything right and looks beautiful at a discounted rate. Lastly, I originally had bought a Radeon 5700XT from Gigabyte (I do not recommend it), but it artifacted countless times, even after RMA'ing it (Gigabytes support is also very bad I have learned). So after 5ish months, I decided I needed a new one and fortunately, I was able to snag this 3060ti on launch day. Works like a charm... Isn't the fastest in terms of clock speeds, but who cares... the thing tanks all games 4k Ultra @ 90+fps (one monitor active), and when streaming, it runs all games 1080p High @ 144fps (streaming and two active monitors). Presenting what the name of the build is all about... My "Corsair Theme", my build features 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB 3600 MHz RAM. The only issue I have run into with these sticks is that the RGB sometimes does not want to cooperate with Corsair's iCUE software... Don't know why, just is what it is. Besides that, these sticks are fast and reliable, hardware-wise, never a doubt, never an issue. STILL staying on the Corsair Theme, my CPU cooler is the ever-so-popular, H100i RGB Platinum AiO. It's sleek, it's elegant, it's effective, it's everything. Plus I got it at a discount :) Almost done with Corsair... I promise. To power all of this, I am featuring the Corsair RM 750W 80+ Gold PSU. (please comment if you guys feel like this is not enough power). As far as I am concerned, it gets the job done. Super reliable, powerful, and quiet. The last and most apparent Corsair feature of my build is the case. The Corsair Crystal 280X RGB is a popular and beautiful case. When first planning out my PC, I wanted something that was small, beautiful, and easy to build in, and this case hit every wish I could've asked for. There really isn't much else to say about this case, I just let the looks speak for themself. Onto some of the other components of my build: CableMod Custom White and Black Sleeved Cables (Absolutely beautiful) 1TB SSD WD Blue (Durable, quick, cheap) 1TB M.2 NVMe Samsung 970 EVO (lightning-quick) 500GB M.2 NVMe Samsung 970 EVO (see above) Corsair iCUE Commander Pro (Convenient for all my RGB Components) 2 Corsair SP120mm RGB White Fans (Quiet, gentle, stunning) AND LAST, but not least. My Elgato 4k60 Capture Card w/ Playstation 5. These two things were the latest additions to my collection. I waited so long to get my hands on the PS5, I couldn't believe it when I finally snagged one. Runs effortlessly and quietly (a huge contrast to its predecessor, the JetEngine4. Once again... Not much to comment on, I let the hardware do the talking. That finished my PC (and PS5), my build also features: Samsung C27HG70 27" 4k 144Hz Curved Monitor Samsung C24F390 24" 1080p 60Hz Curved Monitor Fifine USB Streaming Microphone Logitech StreamCam Corsair K95 RGB Platinum Cherry MX Speed Silver Corsair DARK CORE RGB PRO SE Wireless Mouse Pecham Desk Mat For being my first build, I definitely made some mistakes along the way... Something I am going to change for my next build, whenever that is, is probably not go with Corsair... I love the company, I own a TON of Corsair products; however, iCUE just isn't cutting it for me, wayyyyyy to many issues and bugs with its software... I have troubleshooted everything, no solutions. I am also considering a new backplate for the 3060ti, so HMU if you all have any suggestions. All-in-all, I loved building it and putting it together, it brought me so much joy in the middle of an event where joy was not easily found. I am so glad I am able to be apart of this community and love for y'all to give me some feedback on my build so I can continue to improve this beaut. Thanks again and best of luck to everyone!!!

By day I'm a cybersecurity expert and consultant so I needed a pc to handle that type of work. I'm also a big time gamer that wants to do some streaming and content creation on the side. In short, I wanted this to be a multipurpose rig that can do regular office work, gaming, and streaming a few times a week. I mostly play Super Smash Bros Ultimate competitively and PUBG or Warzone when I want to just chill with friends. Currently I have just started my Instagram for my own tech and gaming brand (@Roczgaming). My vision is to grow this name as its own brand where my team can create some outreach within our community through gaming. Provide an outlet and means for kids to network if they want to get into this industry, IT, or development and just be an overall cool thing to be a part of.

I chose the Spider-Verse theme since Spider-Man is my girlfriend and I's favorite super hero, and we loved the Enter the Spider-Verse movie. I loved the colors and vibe of the movie, so I decided to keep that in mind with my build. Originally, I was constantly upgrading my pc with my I7-4790, and GTX 750 ti. All in a Corsair Carbide Spec-03 case. It went from a 750 ti, to a 970, then a 1070, then finally a Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2070 Super. I finally decided that I was just going to start a whole new build from scratch, and settled with this current Ryzen 7 5800x/RTX 2080 ti build. Primarily I play Overwatch, but really enjoy AAA games such as Red Dead Redemption, AC Origins/Odyssey, Monster Hunter World, and the Far Cry Series. Future upgrades definitely consist of a RX 6800 XT whenever I can a hold of one, so I can have the benefits of an all AMD system (Smart Access Memory). I also want to get a custom RGB backplate for my GPU with a Spider-Man theme.
