  The dream! My second ever build, holding nothing back, I got everything I wanted out of this system. I played so many games,... The dream! My second ever build, holding nothing back, I got everything I wanted out of this system. I played so many games, with so much immersion, streamed so many hours with old and new friends. Over time, the secondary monitor changed, as those were monitors I usually got from Goodwill and eventually broke down. I added storage. Upgraded wireless headphones. Added an external capture card, which later changed to an internal card when my wife showed interest in streaming too. I added a proper microphone, which still leaves room to improve in quality. All the while carrying peripherals and random extra things from the past build and even the laptop I used before building a PC. Those speakers have been with me the longest. I hope to carry many things forward to my next build, which is in the planning stages.

So far I’ve been using it for a lot of Rainbow Six Siege and unfortunately more homework than I’d like to admit. I ultimately wanted to build something that I could afford while still being able to do what I want with it. I am a Nursing student at UTA and a father of three so this is perfect for when I want to relax or spend a day off gaming from morning to night. I set out to build a VR capable PC for racing and some first person Star Wars: Squadron and possibly upgrading for a racing simulator set up. I have cut some corners due to the circumstances with COVID and because I know I was not compromising on the parts. I also knew that I’d probably end up building another one for my son once he saw this one haha!

Only thing I wish to upgrade is to wifi 6 in the future for better streaming of home schooling activities.
