It turned out looking pretty good thanks to some open box parts from Microcenter like the Lian Li Lancool 205m (now discontinued in favor of the 205m mesh) and a 120mm RGB fan from Coolermaster. Performs well in games at 1080p and I was able to overclock the Ryzen 5 1600 to 4.1/4.2 Ghz as well as boost the memory clock on the EVGA RTX 3060 by about 200/250mhz. Thanks to this I was able to get a legendary score in 3dmark firestrike for this CPU+GPU pairing. I ultimately sold this build but it turned out quite well for under $700.$623.96 -

The name isn't really relevant... was just in my mind as I was building haha This is a simple build for entry-level gaming. I might hand it down to my brother or cousin. Goal is to play racing titles or FPS at 1080p in medium-high frame rates. I really like how clean it is, especially in the back which is normally the most messy part of a build. I'm hoping this build still has plenty of years of life left.$628.98 -

The point of this PC was to be a huge focus on value, not spending any money on anything unnecessary but still looking clean and with some RGB. Performance is great at 1080p and even 1440p as the RTX 3060 is still a great card for most games. The white Powerspec power supply with white cable sleeves really completes this PC as only the GPU and motherboard stand out as not matching the colour scheme.$675.93 -

Whether it's for gaming or schoolwork, I do everything on it. This is my second computer and my original reason for buying a new one (in mid 2020) came down to wanting to run games faster (originally for emulation). I came from an FX 6300 and an R9 270X but I've also had my RX 580 as a replacement for the 270X since 2018 when it died. I'm hoping to upgrade the GPU (an RX 580) to something up to par with this generation though it's pretty unclear when that will ever happen. The computer is also fully blacked out (with a spray-painted GPU backplate that I should have done matte as opposed to metallic); I want to get some white LED fans later on to give it some more appeal and to switch my entire setup aesthetic to white and black.$676.41
