  I built this computer in 2019; the only parts I've changed since then are the CPU and motherboard (I originally had a 2400G... I built this computer in 2019; the only parts I've changed since then are the CPU and motherboard (I originally had a 2400G and B450-A Pro, but those ended up in a PC for my brother). I mainly play easy-to-run games like Minecraft and Rocket League, which run well enough at 1080p with the 10600K's integrated graphics. I also use this computer for CAD/3D modeling in Tinkercad and Fusion 360. I've managed to get a decent overclock on the RAM—4000 17-21-21-41 w/ tRFC of 260 ns and somewhat-tuned secondary/tertiary timings. I could probably lower the timings a bit more, but this already gives a solid improvement in bandwidth and latency. I plan to try some iGPU overclocking when I have more time on my hands. The main upgrade I have in mind is adding a graphics card, but I'm holding off on that until the market improves.

This is my computer, and its primary purpose is for gaming and schoolwork/everyday use. In terms of games, the Gtx 960 I have is fine for now(although I do want to upgrade to a current en card), and it can decently play 4x and Sim games at 1080p like City Skylines, Civ 6, and Anno 1800. Those are mainly the games I play, although I dabble in a few esports titles like Valorant and Fortnite. I also use this for some light video-editing for assignments/personal projects and CAD through Fusion 360. In the future, I hope to add a mid-tier GPU like a 3060-3060 TI or maybe a 3070 once prices become reasonable, along with 16 more gigs of RAM.

The inspiration for this build was a video on LTT youtube channel where Linus built his first desk pc. I decided to do something a little different with the placement of all the parts within the desk. The motherboard try is at a slight angle to show off the motherboard and the GPU mount is in front of it to show off the 3080 that will end up in it. I plan to add purple cable extensions to hide the ketchup and mustered generic cables.

  I built this because I was stuck with a pretty bad prebuilt PC that was supposed to be just a general-purpose/desktop PC but... I built this because I was stuck with a pretty bad prebuilt PC that was supposed to be just a general-purpose/desktop PC but I added a GTX 1050ti into it in order to play games at decent performance. But games still ran pretty slow and my computer would stutter with too many chrome tabs or chrome and a game open. I finally built this with money saved up in order to have a computer that wouldn't lag, freeze, or give me a hard time in general. It runs practically every shooter (TF2, Fortnite, Valorant, etc.), Ark, GTA V, and other games very well. Newer games like Elden Ring and some other titles require the graphics settings to be lower, but this is because I'm bottlenecked by my 1050ti, as I was unable to get a new graphics card because of the sky-high prices.

I was given this pc from my Uncle, and its around 3-4 years old so I'm in need of upgrades, at least gpu-wise. I recently upgraded the cpu and motherboard at mc though, and went with an i7 10700k & MSI Z490 combo from Micro Center. I'd love to pick up some real rgb fans (not just purple ones, even if that fits my theme), or just more fans in general as, even without my psu in my case, it still gets pretty toasty in there. And I'm definitely in the market for more ram, as the pc came with one 8gb stick.

I wanted to design and build a full open case with thick double 1/2 acrylic sheets having the ability to access all the components easily. Also have all the radiator RGB lighting show through the acrylic while protecting the fans and moving parts. Polished hex bolts secure the frame. The Corsair SF750 mini PSU was perfect for this build a I needed a super small PSU to both accomodate the GPU requirements as well as hide in the back with the wiring minimal. The GPU is supported on the bottom with a custom 3D printed frame that acts as both a case stand where the acrylic locks in as well as the horizontal mount for the GPU and eliminates all GPU sag.

  This was my first ever PC build. I built it because at the time I worked for Intel and got discounted CPUs, so figured why... This was my first ever PC build. I built it because at the time I worked for Intel and got discounted CPUs, so figured why not! Only bad part was I got caught right in the middle of the GPU shortages, but I was fortunate to be able to get an RTX 3060 from the EVGA queue when everything was out of stock. I generally play RPG type games (Elder Scrolls) and strategy games (Civilization franchise) and I dabble a bit into shooters, but not much.
