Firsts: - Liquid Cooling - Custom PSU Cables - Custom Paint Job I built this machine to handle everything I could throw at it, all the while streaming without a 2 PC setup. This computer dabbles in a little bit of everything in my daily life. FPS, Creative games like Satisfactory, VR, Multi-camera tabletop gaming setups, 3D print design, etc. I'm pretty happy with everything I've put into this to suit my needs, so upgrade are minimal. - Complete cable management on backside, all the necessary extensions are sitting in a box, just need the motivation to re-wire everything - Troubleshoot LED lighting, it's such a pain to get everything dialed in, and the EKWB Hub is a little ball of constant issues - Upgrade NVME storage to take full advance of read/write speeds$6,934.75 -

Having never built a PC in my life, I was originally going to buy a pre-built machine. However, when I got my hands on the RTX 3080, with a very reasonable price, I made my decision to take a stab at it. After looking at various YouTube videos and asking bunch of questions to my cousin and friend, I felt pretty confident to build it on my own. This PC is going to be mainly used for Video editing and Photo editing. I will, however, play some games on it. I mean I might as well with the 3080! The applications that I will be using for Video and Photo are Davince Resolve, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. If my workload gets more intensive, I will probably upgrade my cooling system. Also, I may get some stink eyes with the vertical GPU mount, however with this case and the airflow setup, the GPU actually stays about 5C cooler!$3,771.44 -

Finally decided to make myself a high end gaming machine after spending most of my life with mid/low tier machines that would upgraded over time. Figured since I would be building a better machine why not customize it a bit while I am it. Yea I know, 011d but its just a nice looking and functioning case. As for what games I play? Just about everything but these days I have been on a bit of a survival kick. Me and a friend just beat co-op Green Hell. Great little game. As for future plans, really don't think I have much really, although I saw an amazing infinity mirror mod a few weeks ago that I really want to build but other than that maybe an in case display of some kind but I think I its pretty much done for a few years, it does what I want and with the new tech coming in the next few years it's probably better to wait anyway. Who knows, maybe by the time I need a new GPU the world will have gone back to normal and I can just drive up to MC and get me one without having to get up at 4am and camp outside when its 28 (&*(#$@ degrees out. Comments and suggestions welcome.$3,443.86 -

This rig was built with the main goal of being a high end gaming rig, as well as handle CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360), real time slicing of STL files for 3D printing, and any other compute intensive tasks I throw at it. As a mechatronics hobbyist, this is crucial to keeping a project going quickly. As a PC enthusiast as well, this rig is also a hobby, starting life as an air cooled 6700K/ 980 Ti 5 years ago, and evolving over time to a 5900X/ 3080 water-cooled beast. Games range everything from World of Warcraft to HALO Infinite to Assassin's Creed. When going with a motherboard I should have probably gone with the x570 as opposed to the B550. Reason being is I didn't realize i had so many USB devices as well as the need for more RGB headers. Another thing to consider is that I don't have full PCI3.0 lanes to both of my M.2 drives. I'm good with it and it does great, but if you are going for building something with a little more lifespan spend the extra $50 and get a x570 board!$2,845.84 -

I use it for work mostly and play chivalry 2, rust and other games when I have time. I tried to keep everything gigabyte but it was difficult with supply issues and LHR cards which drove me to the founders edition 3080. When I built it I used a 1080 from a prebuilt until prices came down and DDR5 ram was also unattainably expensive. Overall I am very happy I don’t overclock and plan to have the computer for a very long time. I may consider the new Radeon cards if they stomp out the 4080 as I have been reading. Overall I am quite pleased and shocked that I was able to put everything together, it took a lot of research but I have learned so much and feel I can fix anything if anything messes up. The cord management in the back is still all over the place, at some point I will take the time to make it all look pretty but that's the greatest thing, having all the room in the back without any larger drives to just have all the cords for the rgb stuff.$2,674.89 -
