Haven't had a capable gaming pc in over 10 years and haven't actually built systems in over 20 years (my bro and I used to as teenagers). When my wife gave birth to our second son and we got a nice tax refund, my wife gave me the all-clear to get myself a new system. Bought a prebuilt at first but due to problems with the system and poor customer service, I returned it and got to researching my own build. The system started off on a Gigabyte board and NZXT case, but after more problems with certain parts, I ended up with an almost completely Corsair build. Out of all of the customer service issues I had to deal with, they are simply the best: no hassle, no run around, just fast RMA. As for the system, I use it to play mostly single player RPGs or FPS games. I love the Metro series, Divinity games, The Witcher games, Resident Evil, BattleTech and MechWarrior, Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Deus Ex, and so many others. Recently I played most of the latest games with real time ray traced effects and I'm eagerly anticipating where the technology is heading. Really looking forward to a couple of other games that will feature the technology in Cyberpunk 2077 and Vampire Bloodlines 2. Also really looking forward to Baldur's Gate 3. Currently enjoying Season 2 of The Division 2 with my brother, and really hoping that the next Control DLC will feature Alan Wake as many expect it to be! In the future, I hope to install a hard line custom loop, likely in the Hydro X series since I already have a Commander Pro and have already installed a soft tube Hydro X loop for a friend. Sadly, I can't find a water block for my card (they appear to be EOL both at EVGA and EKWB - Corsair doesn't make one for my model), so if I want to go custom loop, I'll probably have to get a new card. Otherwise, I don't really plan any other upgrades until I replace the system maybe in five years, especially since Z390 is also the end for upgrades.

This build has kinda taken on a life of its own and I am nowhere near done with it. At first I was going to get an AIO and then decided to go the custom loop route, I will be adding another radiator and liquid cooled GPU when the new Nvidia cards launch. I will also be working on some mods for the case as well for the first time, cutting a acrylic panel and using it for pass through fittings to run water lines behind the case and for a cleaner look as well.

I started building this machine 2 years ago, and have upgrading part by part until I got to where I am now. I built this monster PC mainly for gaming, with the SUPER light YouTube production on the side. I play anything from Forza Horizon 4, to Fortnite, to Immortals: Fenyx Rising. I also take the road down nostalgia lane and play some Bloons TD6. Although gaming is its main purpose, I'm doing online school on it too, as I do not own a laptop. As for future upgrades, I'm looking into waiting until DDR5 becomes mainstream, as both my motherboard and CPU are perfectly fine right now. I could go with an i9 10900K or a R7 5800X, but that's just not worth my money for the maybe 10-15% performance uplift. If anyone is wondering how the GPU hybrid kit does, I have never seen the GPU core above 50-55 degrees C when playing games (keep in mind, the fans are only running at about 40-50%, so its nice and quiet too). As for the Galahad AIO I have in here, it cools my 5GHz 9700k very well, have never seen it above 70 degrees C. Don't mind my crummy cable management, this case is good, but not stellar for cable management. But then again, I do have extension cables so 100% of the regular PSU cables in the back of the case.

I built this system to because I built one for a buddy of mine and had too much fun doing it so i decided to build one of my own. Micro Center in Columbus Ohio did the hard line tubes for me. I wish I would've waited to get an AMD to drop the 3000 series of CPUs. The only things I didn't list where my Ducky One 2 Mini, and the custom cables from CableMod and Dream Cables. I have a 2080 Super listed but I only have a 2080 Founders, and a the block from Corsair listed is for a 2080ti but its the standard 2080 block.

This is the 3rd iteration ( still being built actually ) of the "Game Room". This station will focus on "player 1" as we have 3 in the room. The purpose it to achieve all aspects of what you need to work, and Game with friends. Player 1 is built to playing Apex Legends, and doing remote work for the office. Specs: Custom Hard Tube Water cooling, Core I7 9700k with Thermaltake water block, 16GB Corsair RGB Pro, Asus 850 Watt PSU, Asus Strix 1080Ti with Thermaltake Waterblock, Asus 32 inch curved 1440 144hz screen, 2x AOC 144hz 27 inch curved screens. Apple MacBook Pro 16 ( 32gb, core i9 8 core, 2TB ) connected to Razer Core X Chroma for screen output. Custom Desk. Things to do... waiting for the 3 series of Nvidia, So any winnings would go there but the room also isn't done yet so lots left to do. Build Process: Custom Hard tubing is a fun thing to learn. Ive redone the tubing about 5 times now getting better with each iteration (Most recently changed yesterday with the adding of the Asus power supply and reworking of tubes for "neater" bends. The whole room is taking about 2 months to complete so far. It should be done in about 2 more weeks ( So far we are on week 6 )

This was my first custom rig, built originally for light gaming, but morphed into a much more complex and powerful build (and more expensive) that I originally planned. I may have sacrificed a bit in performance for aesthetic, as water cooling and high-end RGB components are not cheap. I currently play games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassins Creed: Odyssey, Monster Hunter: World, the Dishonored franchise, GTAV, and plan on getting Cyberpunk 2077 when it releases. I am in the process of upgrading my GPU from the 980ti to a RTX 2070 Super, and recently upgraded my monitors from a 24" LG 1080p 70Hz and Asus 27" 2k 60Hz to dual LG Ultragear 27" 144hz 1440p monitors. Sadly, with the GPU upgrade, I will be converting from water cooling to all air cooling, with plans to add an AIO CPU cooler down the road.

This computer laughs at every triple A game and completes most tasks with a breeze. Not only is this computer a powerhouse but it has the lights to match it. 5 full RGB fans, along with 4 RGB strips, a RGB CPU cooler and RGB ram, how much more can you ask for. Also don't forget the motherboard and GPU have customizable lighting as well. With software like Icue, you can change the lighting however you want. This rig with an i9-9900k and an ASUS ROG Strix 2080ti, this computer doesn't have many rivals. You could perform the most demanding tasks for days and the computer would never lose an inch of speed. This rig can do almost anything and allow a user to accomplish all his tasks with ease. This is a dream build for any one.

The customer wanted a gaming computer built for his son that was similar to the Maingear customer loop that we have on the sales floor. His son was around 12-14 years old and was adamant about having a 2080 TI in the system, however they did not like how a custom water loop interfered with repairs or upgrades in the future. They went with a closed loop CPU water cooler instead with the rest of the system being air cooled.

I originally built this PC because I needed a big upgrade from my old system (i7-4790k CPU w/ a gtx 960 GPU). With gaming in mind I wanted to make sure I wouldn't struggle with playing any big titles that caught my eye or streaming said titles. I began the build with eventually wanting to do a custom water loop in the future. Ever since I started building PC's and saw that was an option I knew I had to have a system with it. I watched countless videos of how to bend hard tubing, how fittings work, and just the overall process of how to build a water loop start to finish! I then made a part list, purchased all my cooling parts slowly until I had everything I needed and then some! (Bought extra fittings and extra hard tubing because I knew I was going to mess up some of the bends) Mostly I use my system for gaming/streaming (twitch.tv/ScrapppFPS) and I play games like CS:GO, Valorant, Apex Legends, and Call Of Duty.

I went with a classic Stormtrooper style with the black and white build. I went to great lengths to stick to that white and black style, including getting white Asiahorse case fans, a white Corsair PSU, white RGB, and white coolant. It has the following specs: * 32GB RAM Vengeance Pro White * Intel i9-9900K * MSI 2080 Super Ventus XS OC * Custom loop using Bitspower chrome fittings, white coolant, PETG tubing, Corsair 360 radiator, Corsair XD5 pump, and the Corsair XC7 CPU block I purchased everything at Microcenter except for the RAM and the chassis. I built this rig for high-end gaming. I love the Total War series and have been using it for that as well as the Assassin Creed series. I also play Warzone. The next step is to exchange the 2080 Super for the new 3080 series. I'm very excited about that upgrade! The one major mistake I made is not putting in a drain valve in my custom loop. This was my first time, and it was a rookie mistake!
