So this was the first PC I ever built and the main reason behind it was to be able to play games with my friend who is stationed in Japan and only had a PC. I also needed a computer that could run Solidworks simulations easily and not turbo the fans to full speed and slow down in the process of cooking the CPU inside it.$2,726.30 -

Personal PC by employee of MC-STLOUISPARK The whole purpose of building this PC was to stream and game without the use of a video capture card. Although, a video card would be nice, it's definitely not needed since I can stream AAA games with no sense of lag or fps spikes. Games I currently stream are Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and Borderlands 3. *Some parts are missing within this build. The parts list does not have it because 1. It is not in store or 2. It did not show up when searching for parts. Decided to do a new build around the wonderful Ryzen 2700x CPU, and I'm very glad I did. It's a very fast processor that handles gaming, streaming and video editing with no issues at all. The Wraith Prism cooler it comes with is the best cooler I've ever seen bundled with a processor too. The RX5700XT Red Devil keeps all games running smoothly at high frame rates in 1440p even with high or ultra settings. Of course, I also had to put in a lot of RGB. The corsair HD120 fans have no diffusion on the RGB leds, which pair perfectly with the corsair led strips, while keeping everything cool. This InWin case doesn't come with any fans, but has room for up to 6. It also features a tool-less tempered glass panel on the side and RGB on the InWin logo. Because of the side intake the case stays very cool, even with a closed off front panel. There's also an included GPU bracket to protect it from sagging, very useful for a big card like the 5700XT Red Devil!$1,958.34 -

My budget was tight ($800ish) but my exam schedule even tighter, thus I had to act quick. I watched all the possible video tutorials on “how to build a PC” and researched the best “bang for buck” hardware in the time span of one weekend¬. I was anxious yet zealous at the same time. I went ahead and purchased all the parts from Microcenter, drove home with the slowest speed I’ve ever driven in my life, rolled up my sleeves, and my journey began. The whole process took me 8 stressful hours, during which I was constantly re-watching videos and checking if everything fit as it should. I was so jittery I even dropped my CPU but thankfully the Internet taught me I could bend the pins back with a card. Phewww. I was also able to reuse my HDD and the m.2 NVMe SSD from my dead laptop which was a big victory considering my budget. I couldn’t stop admiring my build for weeks and I have slowly but surely been upgrading parts ever since. I created a custom logo for myself and purchased a custom GPU bracket to make my design pop. I am a mechanical engineering student currently and I use my PC for AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, and to learn programming languages on the side. So far, I’m proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript and beginner in JAVA, C++ and Python. In my free time, I enjoy playing Rocket League, PUBG, Among Us, Fall Guys, and the classic- FIFA. I also love listening to music and that is why I recently purchased the Hifiman HE4xx. Looking to buy an AMP and a DAC soon (another rabbit hole I am entering). I’m a very visually oriented person and love being able to match my peripherals and pc with RGB. Since I am not a fan of rainbow effects, I have synced all my devices to be split in half - one side light blue and the other dark blue. With the $500 gift card I am planning to majorly upgrade my system. I want to go from a Ryzen 2600x to a 5700x and add 16gb more RAM, so that I can create more complex models in SOLIDWORKS without hiccups. At the same time, I want to upgrade my GPU to a RTX3060 or 2070Super, which will be more than enough for 144Hz 1080p (hopefully for the horribly optimized PUBG too).$1,696.90 -

I usually play some VR titles, Rocket League, Destiny 2, Risk of Rain 2, No Man's Sky. The process was pretty simple. Installed CPU and heatsink into the Mother Board, as well as the ram, then set it down into the case. Bolted everything down then installed all of the other parts. The strip of lights in the case was from a bulk roll of 5050 LEDs that I cut and soldered the connections on to it. One RGB header goes to the LED strip, and the second one goes to the fan controller included with the case so that ASUS Aura sync can control everything. I also run an Oculus Rift S off of this rig, and it's handled everything quite well. This build could benefit from a newer GPU. I'm looking to probably upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 7 3700x when the 4000 series hits stores and pushes the price down on the 3000s. I chose the AverMedia capture card over the usual ElGato. The AverMedia was on sale, so I got it for a steal, and it's extremely easy to use.$1,399.81 -

This gaming PC was created with some help from Microcenter who sponsored a project for us, the Toastybros, to head out to the Sharonville Microcenter and build a PC with a max budget of $1,000. We built this around the time Microcenter was having a deal on the Ryzen 7 2700x where it was only $130. Insane value. The best part is, once we built this PC in the back of the Microcenter, we found a lucky random shopper to give this PC to for free. We love to give back, and if you would like to see the video we made, check it out here! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxsQN4TRDDo&t=2s$964.93 -

As for this build, I am super proud of, I have been building computers for years and this one takes the cake and you want to come back for more. This was built as a gift for a friend who has been thinking about streaming but did not have a great PC but also a console gamer. So a few friends got together and decided to put this in motion. We knew she is heavily into Overwatch, and their favorite character is Symmetra. With this in mind, I decided to do a Symmetra and Overwatch inspired build. Color matching can sometimes be difficult but the blue case fans & gray black of the case with the different skins that she has in-game would not be an issue. It shows off an aura and has a custom painted Overwatch logo (gray) on the side panel (Can be seen on Instagram). The best part of all of this is giving someone a gift that they had no idea was coming. Do good in the world, we need more of that.$859.91
