I wanted a fully RGB'd out PC that is able to run 1440p while having the best temperatures and performance. i may switch the case if the aesthetics get in the way in the near future but for now this is perfect. i want to be able to play league of legends, valorant, warzone, cyberpunk all at 144hz 1440p. the pc was bought with mostly used parts but i think in the near future ill upgrade with new parts because parts are starting to go down for everything except the gpu. sigh one day itll happen!!!!~$1,538.92 -

This is a build that I built for my dad that will hopefully last him around 5 years. He plans to use it mainly for coding, Photoshop, website design and video editing. Therefore plenty of RAM was necessary along with lots of fast storage. He also did not want it to take up too much desk space or be loud, hence the NR200 case and the Phanteks T30s. He didn't need anything too crazy for the processor and graphics card, although this will still be a huge upgrade from his current laptop.$1,919.91 -

I built this PC as an upgrade from my very outdated 3570k build from my college years. I wanted to set it up to support video editing I'm getting into as well as occasional gaming. I originally wanted to build in a Fractal Meshify 2 Compact case but while shopping for used GPUs, I purchased a 2080ti MSI Gaming X Trio without realizing how long it is. It could not fit in the Meshify 2 C with the thicc Arctic 280 AIO in the front. So I switched the build to a Be Quiet! 500dx case which allows for a larger card.$1,362.98 -

The one thing I'll say is that the LanCool III is a nice engineering-heavy case...and I totally love it. The cable management in this case is absurdly great, the airflow is near perfection, and there's so much room for activities. I considered the 13900k, but this is such a leap forward from where I was, the price difference allowed me to splurge on some completely unnecessary tiny additions like the various right-angle adapters, including the completely ridiculous ARGB 24-pin ATX power adapter. I kept my Aorus 3080 Xtreme since I was already dumping a bunch of money into the build and it's still a great card. (I held onto my old 1080Ti and used that to refurbish the old machine as a hand-me-down for my son's build.) Getting all the RGB to play well enough together has been a huge challenge. SignalRGB doesn't yet support a few things in the build, so I have to keep the myriad of specific software running for now and they all like to fight each other. The last touch I wanted to put on this was an internal stats dashboard. I had an old OnePlus 7T since I recently upgraded to the Z Flip 4, (great phone btw). So that's powered by USB and runs Pitikapp. It does the trick for now, but I'm still looking at options. (I'm going to see if the 7T can run with its battery removed and if not, I'll find an HDMI screen that I can use instead.) But the phone fills the space in the mostly empty area towards the front of the case very nicely and gives me a little something extra to tinker with and look at.$2,628.23
