I was a PC player since I was a child and I gave a shot to console but I could not get comfortable with controller so I came back to PC. I am a shooter and RTS games. Of course most of them are in PC. So I decided to build one from zero with a CPU and Motherboard deal from Microcenter. Now here is my baby.$1,752.91 -

The parts included are high end intended to play games on all ultra settings for the near future. I can't wait to play Halo Infinite, Elden Ring and upcoming games such as Hogwarts Legacy and Starfield. Learning points for me was 1) the iCUE 100i water cooling kit comes with a commander core. 2) 3 pin case fans are not compatible with the commander core and are generally harder to control. I ended up returning the extra commander core I bought and swapped out the 3 pin iCue fans with 4 pin icue fans. 3) If downloading Windows 11, check the motherboard manufacturing site on how to install! You may need to enable TPM in the bios setting$2,367.88 -

This is my main computer, used for playing games (MTG:A, Nier, ONI), doing coding (git, Visual Studio), and often a lot of creative projects (Adobe/Affinity Suite, Blender, Unity). The primary objectives of this build are efficacy (it should run everything I want) and durability (it should run everything I want for the next decade). I did not upgrade my initial rig since 2014, so this build did not use any previous parts.$2,229.91 -

I've been waiting to build my PC for a while now. Researching the parts was both fun and time consuming. Good thing micro center had everything I wanted except for the 3080. In the past, I have purchased prebuilt laptops and desktops from well known companies. I wanted to get more "bang for my buck" and decided to build my first computer. I have never built a computer before but I thought it would be fun. I spent so much time watching different YouTube videos and I thought I could do it. My previous computers were not powerful enough to play games such as Valorant or Warzone. I didnt want to spend a ton but I wanted a PC that will be useful for gaming for the next several years with upgrade-ability down the line. It took time picking the parts for the build as I tried to do as much research as I could but once I decided on the parts, I chose Micro Center for the parts as they have absolutely everything. I was excited once I purchased everything but once I bought all the boxes home, I was somewhat worried I would break something and mess up it up royally. But I took my time and went slowly - I mean very slowly. I read each manual and watched more videos. The build took almost an entire day! When I pressed the power button, it worked! I was so excited when I got to the BIOS screen. There were no problems posting and its been running great so far. Im really happy with it and its been running games smoothly!$1,414.91 -

However I wanted and all around PC that I could do pretty much anything on. I have always bought the standard prebuilt machines over the years and wanted something to call my own not HP or Dell HAHA. It was a little overwhelming at first but the associates at Microcenter pointed me in the right direction for everything and asked really good questions. Very Helpful. But I'm extremely happy with the perfomance and products I chose. Now looking forward to the next build and upgrades. LOL$2,225.88 -

I had been using a MSI gaming laptop for 6 years but now things have changed! This was my first mini-ITX build and also the first time using rigid tubing! It was an exciting build to explore liquid cooling and create a system for 1440p gaming. Runs many games really smooth on 1440p. such as World of Tanks, Destiny 2, GTA 5, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, COD Warzone, and... I'll need more storage space for more games. For future upgrades, I would like to add two 1TB SATA SSDS and if necessary another 1TB NVMe Drive. I like playing all types of games and look forward to having a large library of games to choose from instead of uninstalling and reinstalling all the time. Doing the PETG tube bends in the H210i was a challenge but it was so satisfying to utilize most of the space in a small case. I'm thinking of adding one of the dyes that came with the Liquid Devil when I drain the distilled water to install Noctuas in the front of the case; currently using Cougar 120mms. CPU and GPU temps at idle are 40-45C, as ambient is above 32C since I built this PC. At loads, temps range from 55 to 65C depending on the game. Undervolted the 5700XT and not OC'ing the 3700x. Little worried about the CPU temps being higher than the GPU at idle but I will continue to monitor it.$2,884.76 -

I built this rig in order to run all games at a smooth framerate in high - max settings, and also wanted an accelerated PC to run multiple programs, stream and invest into digital art as well.
