Because I had needs for a workstation (photo editing, data analysis), I went with AMD and 8-core, 16-threads. I also decided to purchase a cpu with decent integrated graphics for those "occasional breaks" of light gaming such as Risk of Rain 2. Playing similar indie or rougelike games doesn't stress the system at all. I have another dedicated gaming rig for demanding games.$699.94 -

This build was a starter build that I made so that I could put a gpu in it later, with the specs of this thing, you can play genshin and Fortnite at 1080p on low-medium settings at around 40-50 fps. I tried not to cut any quarters for this build as if I wanted to, I can add more stuff to it and it be even better, obviously. As soon as I had enough money in hand to build a PC, I waited no further to say good bye to my old gaming console. I know the graphic card market now is in a much better shape but I couldn't wait longer and I seriously though the chip shortage is gonna stay till 2022 end. At the time of building this PC, AMD RX 6600 is the only card that is budget friendly and readily available in market. I am not a huge fan of RGB and it doesn't add anything to performance. I don't want to waste money on that. I stayed with the stock cooler that came with Ryzen 5600G and added 2 120mm exhaust fans. I stick with 5600G rather than 5600X to keep the PC running even when the graphic card die and I can't afford another one. True future proofing :) I saw a slim gap in the price for 3200MHz and 3600MHz ram and went with 3600. AMD can take advantage of the high speed ram than Intel. Micro ATX form factor and Thermal take S100 are both budget friendly choices. I am happy with the way it looks and performs. I am set for next 5 years.$1,230.94 -
