This is the first build I've ever had that wasn't a hand-me-down from someone else. As a result, I was really able to build this towards my own aesthetic and I decided to go with a cherry blossom theme leaning into whites and pinks by adding little details such as the cherry blossom support bracket, custom fan cover and adding details to the case.

I called this yin and yang just to show the balance and simplicity of all things. I built this pc for both editing photos and videos for my photography and videography small business. Due to my MacBook being unable to keep up with the many projects I do. In doing so I took the time to save up and ended up making this mid high range of a pc. Which on my pass time I use for gaming and or general usage.

The reason for the build was specifically for video editing and productivity purposes for my job. But I also use it to play games like Call of Duty, Flight Simulator, and any other game I want to throw at it. Built on day 1 of Ryzen 5000 series launch day after using an i7 4790K since 2014. Huge upgrade for me!

This is my first ever pc build and took nearly a month to finish due to GPUs being out of stock. Waited outside microcenter for about 3 weeks to get the 3070 that I'm planning to keep for 2-3 years. Mostly play FPS like Siege, Apex, Rust, Ect. planning to stream on twitch soon although it's a slow start. Planing to change the case at one point but let me know your thoughts on upgrades any feed back.. Thanks in advance. FWI, removed glass panel to avoid any reflections.

I use this pc for my school work and gaming and talking to friends and all the hobbies I have. I multitask a lot, and the orientation of my double monitors really helps with that. I'm not a pro at anything to be honest. I stream just for the fun of it, and I game just to spend time with friends. My PC is capable of most things, and I have yet to come across something that puts any stress on my computer. I play games like Valorant and GTA every here and there. I also at night leave my pc on to mine crypto. It makes like 2$ only, but it adds up and is actually enough to cover the entire electricity bill of everything in my home :) I've always wanted to build my pc and have a nice setup, and while writing this, I'm just now noticing how far I really came. A few years ago, I wouldn't have even imagined my setup would look like this lol. But part by part, minor upgrades here and there really showed a big difference in the long run, which I'm grateful for. Also my We Bare Bear funkos are part of my setup, they mean a lot to me. The laptop I have on my right of my desk I don't use much since that was actually what I used to use before I had a decent PC. I also feel like there might be some controversy with the parts I have, either its cause of pricing or performance. But when I upgrade my PC I do consider having better performance but having it look good matters more to me since I'm not really doing anything that needs a lot of good specs.

I am a web developer and I needed a new PC because the older one is slow and kept crashing. It took me sometime to get the parts but at the end it it was a nice to have everything together to start the build. I was anxious. Also the problem with the graphic cards didn't help because everyone wanted one and the bots were really annoying. This was my first actual build and I am really proud of it. Everything works really smoothly and I know it will last a lifetime. My next upgrade for this build will be storage.

PC 2 I made for my spouse to work on and also play pc games with me. Most of the games I play are found on Steam, Blizzard, Epic Games, LoL, Valorant, etc. I'm a OIF/OEF Vet myself, my teenage kids wanted to get into PC gaming (they're "upgrading" from consoles/Fortnite) and I come from an automotive repair background so putting together a PC is trivial in comparison to an engine or fine tuning suspension for an auto cross track. Anywho, future upgrades to include the new 6800 XT or some 3080's were available but I'll deal with having 5700 XT's for now as a place holder. Almost returned both these NZXT cases (still within 30day window) and buy 2 new Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini cases + 12*LL120 case fans but too lazy to take apart both PC components JUST to have the NEW case.

I built this rig for the primary purpose of 4K gaming, VR gaming, and learning overclocking. I built my first computer in 2007 in high school and since have dreamed of building another over the years. Being in school and while working my way up left me barely enough time to sleep and no money to eat. I now finally have the ability to work from home and I wanted to celebrate with a gaming pc. My brothers and best friends are big into gaming and I can finally join them! In process of building this pc I helped both of my brothers and two of my friends build their gaming pc, all with parts from microcenter at St. David’s! We can finally game together, these computers have brought us all together enduring the crazy year. About the build: Since I am a old counsel gamer I wanted my rig to be in my living room. So I paired the system with a 120hz 75” Samsung 4K 8 series tv and a bowers and Wilkins panaorama 2 sound bar. Specs: CPU: Ryzen 5600x GPU: Strix 3090 OC RAM: trident z neo 32gb 3600cl16 Storage: 1tb xpg pcie 4.0 nvme, seagate 3tb hdd PSU: Corsair AX1200 MOBO: Asus TUF x570 plus WiFi Cooling: NZXT x73 Kraken push/pull configuration Case: NZXT H710i black, custom silver cable cover

I feel very exciting about it, although it took me weeks of non-stop refreshing of all kinds of website in order to get my hands on the Gigabyte RTX 3080 and AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. I wanted to find the perfect display for my Lego marvel figures, and was surprised to find out that the space and color fits perfectly for my Captain America. Overall, I really enjoy the past 2 months of youtube parts researching, non stop website refreshing, the nervous moment of pressing the power switch for the 1st time and hopping there is no smoke coming out of the motherboard. Microcenter has been a great resource for me since they are local, and the social media accounts are very interactive and responsive. Using the quote to end my description, "This is one small step for me, one giant leap for my DIY life".

I use this machine to consume a lot of information, so the black and white motif stands as a pretty good reminder of the nuances of information in the digital age. It's black and white when it's off, but springs to color when energized. I think it's poetic, in an enlightened-fifth-grader kinda way... Aesthetics aside, this thing is a veritable beast. 4.3MHz stable, 24-threads, 64GB ram at 3000MHz, PCIe 4.0 1TB NVMe OS Drive, 3.5TB of SSD storage with a Thunderbolt 2-bay extension; this thing can do it all. The only thing that I need to change is moving from the respectable 1080Ti to a 3080 when the inventory gods decide to bless me. Although the 1080Ti still holds up some respectable north-of-60 FPS in most modern games (Modern Warfare, Apex, Monster Hunter World, Death Stranding, etc.) at 3440x1440. When not serving up frames, it's rendering videos comprised of hundreds of GBs of clips at 4k 10-bit 4:2:2 footage. I do promotional videos for non-profits and occasional event videography semi-professionally. My prior system built around my old 6700k got the job done, but it sure did show its limitations during those LOOOONG rendering sessions. It did double as a space heater, but I live in TX so that feature wasn't super useful most of the time. This thing devours 4k footage and craps out the most beautiful renders so quickly that I don't even have time to go out on beer runs anymore! The renders, which used to take hours, would be done with just enough time for me to watch a video of BitWit Kyle roasting PC builds on my phone. It was also my coming of age build. My prior builds were full of mistakes (i.e. intake fan on the back panel!), but this build was the first time that everything came together almost flawlessly from inception to design to POST. After months of research and budgeting, I was ready to pull the trigger when I saw the 3900x on sale. The build process was slow and satisfying as it should be. I was able to hit a stable 4.3MHz, which was my goal from the beginning. The only thing that didn't really hit the mark was my RAM speed. I did a lot of research on which RAM modules work best with the Ryzen platform, but I went with the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro after finding a good deal on it. Needless to say, the X.M.P. profile DID NOT work and I had to do my own RAM timing calculations using Taiphoon Burner and a nifty tool by 1usmus called Ryzen DRAM Calculator. Unfortunately, even with all the neat tools, I was only able to get my system to POST at 1500 MHz. In the end, I briefly contemplated doing an RMA for the RAM sticks, but the performance gainz I was seeing had me all starry eyed so I decided to keep her. The build is about 3 months old and I'm still in the honeymoon phase. I have finally opened up my eyes and my heart to The Truth.

I am currently in school to be a nurse-practitioner and since classes are all online now due to the pandemic, I need a PC—so I built one. I enjoy playing Counter-strike, Modern Warfare, and PUBG. As an Army Vet, I love Modern Warfare, game developers really put great efforts to portray the realism of war. Although I am against any war or conflict, great game nonetheless. In hindsight, I should have gotten an X570 motherboard to take advantage of its Pcie 4.0 capabilities and would have added a Cooler Master water-cooling system for my CPU.
