Originally, wanted to build my dream PC, an ITX build that can fit in my backpack but could run Minecraft with shaders at a high framerate. After completing the build, I found myself gaming less and focusing more on College. Funnily enough, I decided to take a class on Geospatial Informational Systems. This requires us to run a program called ArcGIS. ArcGIS doesn't look like much, but its recommended requirements are: 8-Core CPU, 32GB of ram, a GPU with 6-8GB of Vram. You'd think a program that just draws maps wouldn't need a beefy GPU, but that was wrong lol.$1,874.94 -

Some games I love playing are fast-paced FPS games like Overwatch, Apex Legends, and Valorant. It feels so good to finally be able to play at a high refresh rate after playing at 60 Hz for so long! Some future upgrades I would love to make are to add a couple more fans to improve the airflow and get 1tb or 2tb nvme ssd as a game drive.$1,519.92 -

I have been wanting to build a pc since I was in High School. Thanks to MicroCenter’s Holiday finance special I was finally able to build my very own gaming pc. For my first build I think I did very well. Now that I have my PC, I will soon get started on creating a nice setup.$1,536.89 -

Got lucky and caught the tale end of a deal on CPU and Mobo combo at microcenter, better than even black Friday sale that i couldn’t pass up and to support EVGA gpus before shut down.$1,028.97 -

Micro Center lured me in again with a great deal on a 11700k with a free z590 MB so I started another build. GPU prices had finally started coming down, so I added a RX6800XT too. Things kinda spiraled from there. The 6800Xt was so large I decide to created some new vents for my case to help with air flow. All in all a fun, but completely unnecessary project. The old 9700k rig will probably become a racing sim or maybe a virtual pinball setup. I'm sure that project will get out of hand also.$2,397.01 -

After having bought a 1440p monitor, I was still using a laptop with a 1660ti GPU that was unable to fully utilize this monitor's gaming capability. I wanted a PC that was powerful and in line with the current generation of hardware because I wanted it to last me a long time, and to be capable of working with me no matter what my next ambition is. While initially building this PC, I had an EVGA AIO cooler ready to use for the CPU, however, the case I was using couldn't fit the radiator anywhere. So I ended up trading in that cooler for a DeepCool AK620 at microcenter, and since then it works perfectly. However, just several weeks later I replaced the case as well since the old one did not provide enough airflow and temps were still relatively high. If I had known beforehand that I would get a case that would better fit an AIO cooler, I wish I would've kept it.$1,510.78 -
