I built this new rig because trying to play Apex Legends on an older Asus A88XM-Plus with an Athlon 860k and a 1050ti just wasn't cutting it for me. It was time to upgrade.Problem was i didn't have an unlimited budget. Im a big fan of AMD and a Asus so I knew that a Ryzen cpu and a Asus gaming motherboard was a must have. Only thing I was really worried about was a gpu. Like everyone else I been dreaming of NVIDIA 3080 but was not willing to toss $1000 on a gpu. I got a great deal on a Evga 1660 ultra 6gb. The 1660 definitely gets the job done but I will have my 3080 in the near future. The only other thing I would change is the ram. I want to get the Corsair rgb ram. Other than that this mid grade gaming rig is done.$1,787.92 -

This was my first and currently the only PC I've built so I wanted to build it with fairly modern specs for it's time in the hopes that It would last awhile while also maintaining performance. I built this computer to play Fortnite, Minecraft, GTA V, BeamNG.Drive, and American Truck Simulator. I had a prehistoric 2017 Intel build with a new GTX 1660, a usable PSU and liquid cooler. I threw this build together in November, and got a Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB of 3200MHz RAM, a fast M.2 drive, a new case, among else. It plays any game at 1440p, and Minecraft and American Truck Simulator have no problem running smoothly at 4K. I was extremely fortunate to have a spare GPU, and everything else fell into place. The only problems I have encountered is the Corsair H100i v2 from the older computer having a pump failiure, which isn't surprising, as it was over 5 years old, so we replaced it with an H100i ELITE Capellix AIO.$1,514.92 -

This rig has been my gaming PC for the past 7 years and was updated back in 2017 when my motherboard failed. Even though its not the most extravagant build, I love it with all my heart. I play almost every gaming genre, but my favorite games played on this rig would have to be Divinity Original Sin 2 and amazing indie games such as Omori, Inscryption, Binding of Isaac, etc.$1,721.94 -
