I wanted a PC to play all of my favorite games at max settings at 1080p. I picked out the pink case first and then decided on the best parts that fit budget while maximizing performance. I enjoy that these parts allow me to do ray-tracing and high detail in single-player games, or 144fps in multiplayer games.

It has the look of a gaming build, the productivity of a...productivity build, and the general purpose of anything that comes my way. In terms of gaming, I can run Valorant, CSGO, and Rocket League at 240+ fps on max settings (1080p). Higher demanding games such as the latest COD(s) and GTAV run similarly but only around 100fps. Streaming at 1080p 60 fps is no match for this build. In terms of productivity, I use it for my business, school, and other projects such as online communities. For all of these uses, I can not tell you how many times the secondary vertical monitor has come in the “clutch”. When I’m watching a YouTube video, I’m scrolling Twitter, when I’m writing an essay, I’m conducting research, when I’m accounting for sales, I’m calculating and obtaining the information I need. I could not imagine having only a single monitor. It’s truly amazing.

To get a taste for performance and possibly immerse my self into the deep world of pc gaming and building pcs. Im now addicted to the whole process from picking the components to the building to the satisfaction of seeing it all running smoothly. I decided to jump in head first and there's no turning back now. My rig is still ever evolving. I still plan on making more improvements. i.e. Aorus Gigabyte rtx 3080 , Aorus Z490 mother board, lian li rgb strimmer cables(8 & 24 pin)... I like playing Cyberpunk, Apex legends, fortnite, and Predator: Hunting grounds. Oh and anything racing. My epic ID is evil.askari . I'm still learning a lot about this particular field but I'm focused and passionate about this and wouldn't mind sharing thoughts and info on anything pertaining to pcs and gaming. I'm also interested in 3d rendering 3d printing, vinyl cutting. I have a Cricut and a great press for making custom images for t shirts. So I also want my rig to

I've since added a Samsung 1TB 2.5" SSD, replaced the GPU & PSU, and transplanted the components into a Corsair 465X iCUE RGB Gaming Case. I do plan on upgrading the mobo/cpu in the near future but for the time being, it does everything I need it to do game-wise. I use this PC in coalition with a streaming PC which I will link a build for down below that also includes an older GTX 1070 TI for the NVENC. My current games are MechWarrior Online, Planetside 2, Among Us, Antigraviator, Pacer (formerly Formula Fusion), Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2. I love playing Watch Dogs because it is my favorite franchise. I buy most of my games on sale on Steam. I really love how this build turned out. Special thanks to Micro Center associates and Micro Center Build Service for the purchasing and assembly. I have the technical knowledge. Last October, in the midst of exam week, I spilt coffee on my gaming laptop. My budget was tight ($800ish) but my exam schedule even tighter, thus I had to act quick. I watched all the possible video tutorials on “how to build a PC” and researched the best “bang for buck” hardware in the time span of one weekend¬. I was anxious yet zealous at the same time. I went ahead and purchased all the parts from Microcenter, drove home with the slowest speed I’ve ever driven in my life, rolled up my sleeves, and my journey began. The whole process took me 8 stressful hours, during which I was constantly re-watching videos and checking if everything fit as it should. I was so jittery I even dropped my CPU but thankfully the Internet taught me I could bend the pins back with a card. Phewww. I was also able to reuse my HDD and the m.2 NVMe SSD from my dead laptop which was a big victory considering my budget. I couldn’t stop admiring my build for weeks and I have slowly but surely been upgrading parts ever since. I created a custom logo for myself and purchased a custom GPU bracket to make my design pop. I am a mechanical engineering student currently and I use my PC for AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, and to learn programming languages on the side. So far, I’m proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript and beginner in JAVA, C++ and Python. In my free time, I enjoy playing Rocket League, PUBG, Among Us, Fall Guys, and the classic- FIFA. I also love listening to music and that is why I recently purchased the Hifiman HE4xx. Looking to buy an AMP and a DAC soon (another rabbit hole I am entering). I’m a very visually oriented person and love being able to match my peripherals and pc with RGB. Since I am not a fan of rainbow effects, I have synced all my devices to be split in half - one side light blue and the other dark blue. With the $500 gift card I am planning to majorly upgrade my system. I want to go from a Ryzen 2600x to a 5700x and add 16gb more RAM, so that I can create more complex models in SOLIDWORKS without hiccups. At the same time, I want to upgrade my GPU to a RTX3060 or 2070Super, which will be more than enough for 144Hz 1080p (hopefully for the horribly optimized PUBG too).

After using my 3rd gen i7(3770k) paired with a R9 290X for so long, it was finally time for an upgrade. I could no longer wait for a new generation to come out and so I pulled the trigger for an AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, paired with a EVGA RTX 2060 KO Ultra. I plan to do the step up program to get a RTX 3070 in the future but for now, this build as a whole exceeds what I was previously using. I would consider this build to be all-around: gaming, future streaming, and video editing.

I enjoy watching the time lapse builds on you tube, those guys and gals can build some awesome rigs. I have a desk in the corner of my room, so a couple years ago I got this image or idea in my head about building a cool water cooled system spread out on the two walls above my desk. Friends think I'm crazy, but the idea stuck in my head and "some day I'm gonna do it!". Well that day was 7 months long of engineering the design, ordering parts, researching parts (dig deep into M.2 storage systems or multiple card arrays, you can spend weeks and still be lost), fabricating parts and most importantly working to BUY the $6000+ in parts. And the actual, build itself was spread out over 4 weeks. Its my first water cooled build, so the tubing was extremely slow going and chopped full of mistakes, lol literally I have 15 feet worth of 16mm hard tubing mistakes. And the cost of water fittings quickly overwhelmed me. I've got at least $400 just in fittings. I love the people at Microcenter reservations, I just pick my parts online and reserve them, and they go gather them off the shelves, what a time saver for me, I love them guys and gals. I mostly just play World of Tanks, and World of Warplanes with the rig, the Core I9 10900K 10th gen CPU and the ROG Strix 2070 on a ASUS ROG Maximus XII Formula board are way overkill for my needs, but over is better than under. I operate with the CPU punched up to 5 GHZ, 3.7 being stock, but I have clocked it up to 5.2 for benchtests but haven't took it to the magical 5.3 yet, lol. I do have an ASUS Hyper M.2 X 16 card for linking 4 M.2s, but as of now I have 3 Samsung 970 EVO plus card mounted in board set up in a RAID 0 configuration so the hyper drive would be an insignificant gain , it would have to read my mind to get much faster than it is now, lol. And a big thank you to Microcenter a good 3/4 of this build came off their shelves, mostly the Brentwood Mo store but some was the online store. The employees at Microcenter are truly the best, I have never gotten less than 100% of genuine want to satisfy. I bought this build one pay check at a time, and I am a flooring installer making $15/hr, so that was a lot of floors, and a lot of trips to Microcenter, lol.

These three reasons is what I had in mind when building this computer. I began with a weak, 2010, iMac for gaming and work. Having a computer this strong is easily one of the biggest upgrades. I am able to run Modern Warfare, GTA 5, Valorant, and League of Legends at 150 - 200fps on 1080p. Work on the other hand is insane. I can handle so many computing applications while having my explore window open with absolutely no lag at all. Streaming is up and coming, I just need to bring an ethernet cable into my room because the wifi coverage is total buttcheeks. Overall, this computer was to completely upgrade from a 2010 iMac.

Wanted to put something together that could perform everyday tasks, but also play games and enjoy it's performance playing the likes of COD: Warzone, Valorant, Hyper Scape, Grounded, to name a few titles. This was a test doing a little custom painting on the NZXT H510 case which had the Red band but painted that white, taped it off and then sprayed out some black. From there taped off what needed to be and the entire inside of the case was painted white and came out looking nice for a really good Black/White contrast. I guess for the time being it's a work in progress that'll be ongoing. I'll be upgrading to a full ATX Case which will be white, as well as looking forward to picking up a Founders 3080 when they release to throw inside

I needed a rig that could handle playing Beat Saber while running multiple programs, recording with green screen, camera, running PC game, and VR all at the same time. I built this pc because my old computer I had that was prebuilt when I purchased could not handle everything I wanted to do. Before this build, my old pc would keep lagging and I would end up being stressed and not playing after ten minutes. Even though I'll be using it for games, and also office work, it's nice that I now have a pc that will not only let me do anything without it lagging or freezing, but also a pc that I love and built myself from scratch. Emotionally rewarding and satisfying building my first pc! The journey to researching each part, and learning the components are great too. I knew nothing when I started this build. Now I can record/stream the games I love, and able to start recording so I can upload and share on youtube and hopefully on twitch soon (I am "LastFoodBender" in both platforms. Username is LastFoodBender because I love food lol). The games I mainly play are Beat Saber (also other VR games), Destiny 2, Fortnite, Fall Guys, World of Warcraft,Call of Duty (I love zombies). If it wasn't for Microcenter having much better prices than anywhere else I would not have been able to build this, and would have had to settle for lesser parts that I could afford within my budget which may have ended with a pc that was not fast enough to do everything I want. Eventually I would like to upgrade my GPU, get a bigger ssd, and higher psu; for now though, my pc is something I now absolutely love and proud of!
