I built this rig specifically for gaming (might stream in the future if I get good enough XD) and for school work. The main game I play is Apex Legends (and some minecraft as well :D)It definitely gets the job done; built with a ryzen 5 5600x and a 3070ti FTW3. It took me a lot of time and effort to get these parts, but it was worth it. The only thing that needs upgraded now is my desk lol. I just bought supplies from Lowes to fully complete the setup.

I have been wanting to build a PC for a few years now but never had the money since I am in college. But, I finally saved up enough money to finally build one. I use this PC for school work and gaming. I play Rocket League, Apex, Warzone, and many other games. After playing on my PC I can say I will never go back to playing on a console.

I went to Microcenter to make an AMD 3400G build since I wanted a budget build and no GPUs were in stock previously. Then the unthinkable happened... A wild 1650 appeard on the shelf staring at me. I had to grab and change up my budget build a little bit. All in all I was able to keep it all under $1000 (considering I already had a case and a Seagate 2TB 7200RPM HDD). The picture of the rig is just built and went through bios. Cable management was okay but I think i can pretty it up just a little bit but overall it works as intended.

I wanted hands-on experience with building a PC, so this is my first PC I built. The theme is Mega Man and it's purpose is for general web-surfing and the occasional gaming. The games I play currently is Pokemon Showdown, horror games on itch.io, puppet combo games, and Hyperscape and I want to get into more games to play. As of right now I have a MSI GeForce GTX 1650 Super Aero ITX OC GPU but in thr future would love a GeForce RTX 3070. #MicroCenterMadness

By day I'm a cybersecurity expert and consultant so I needed a pc to handle that type of work. I'm also a big time gamer that wants to do some streaming and content creation on the side. In short, I wanted this to be a multipurpose rig that can do regular office work, gaming, and streaming a few times a week. I mostly play Super Smash Bros Ultimate competitively and PUBG or Warzone when I want to just chill with friends. Currently I have just started my Instagram for my own tech and gaming brand (@Roczgaming). My vision is to grow this name as its own brand where my team can create some outreach within our community through gaming. Provide an outlet and means for kids to network if they want to get into this industry, IT, or development and just be an overall cool thing to be a part of.

I wanted to try PC gaming since all I would hear from people was that it was a way better experience. Thus after watching multiple youtubers such as Jayztwocents and TechSource I was inspired to build my first ever PC. It has evolved now since I'm hooked with building so now I find any excuse to get my hands on my pc. Here are some pictures of the updated state of my entire set up since I have tried hard to not just have a good looking pc but also a good looking setup. I used by two favorite colors for lighting purple and red. I love star wars and one of my favorites was the red sith troopers from the last installment. The rest of the game room has some starwars stuff such as the white boba fett helmet, the lightsaber, and the R2D2 popcorn maker! Thus the theme for the pc/setup build. I'm currently rocking a ryzen 7 3800x and Powercolor Red dragon 5600xt. My hopes are to upgrade the gpu and keyboard next. If you have any keyboard recommendations let me know!

However, this is now turned into my daily PC (still use my MacBook Pro tho) and I'm trying to get better at FPS with keyboard and mouse....Its definitely going to take some time haha I decided to opt out on the NZXT Liquid Cool and save $250...I'm debating if liquid cooling is really necessary as my PC is constantly running around 50*. I am also thinking about increasing the RAM another 32 GB, but that's a little unnecessary

I am going to be using many different types of big programs including autocad, solidworks, etc. I am also a huge online gamer I play League of Legends, Rocket League, Black Desert Online, Dungeon Fighters Online, Titanfall, and am going to take a jab at games like Modern Warfare or CSGO.

I played on a gaming laptop for awhile but it was time to build something for myself and call it my own. I built it to be able to play with my friends who also built their own PCs. Also there was quite the incentive when I realized the greater performance you get on a PC when compared to a console, especially when playing cross-platform games. I play Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, and Destiny 2 mainly. It definitely was a fun time putting it all together with the help of my roommates. I can definitely tell the difference from my Xbox One and my gaming laptop (which had a 1660ti in it). It runs very smooth and boots up super quick with the M.2 drive. At first I was a tad hesitant to get an AMD card because Nvidia is the top dog but so far, I've had no regrets as it has proven itself worthy for giving my the frames I want in games.

So I saved up and built this. I do everything on this now, everywhere from watching lectures to working on large CAD files and playing games. I've been playing games that I can play with my friends, like Valorant, Phasmophobia, GTA, Rainbow 6 Siege and such. For these games, the 1660 Super can handle 1440 pretty well, so for my first build, I'm very satisfied. In hindsight, I think getting a 20 series card would've been nice, especially for 1440p gaming, but a lot of the budget went to the monitor (which I like very much and I can't even look at the laptop display now) and getting a worse monitor for a better graphics card wouldn't make much sense. Also, getting a semi-modular/modular PSU would've been a good idea. I think I cable-managed pretty well, but it wasn't exactly the easiest. The single RGB fan came with the case, and that is the only RGB part outside the little strip that comes on the Aorus mobo. I put it on the back as it's the only place I can see the lights from

Built to run Lightwave 3D rendering software, as well as general usage. This is the first machine I have built in over 15 years. My last build was a dual AMD Athlon, and everything since then until now has been off-the-shelf stuff, so this is a big upgrade for me. Lightwave is a CPU renderer, not GPU, so the video card was not a major concern for me, but CPU cores and memory was.

I built it because I am a 3rd year college student and it was time to upgrade from my 500 dollar laptop. I play some games on it, it runs gta pretty well, I also played a free game team fortress two and it’s very smooth. In the past, I have purchased prebuilt laptops and desktops from well known companies. I wanted to get more "bang for my buck" and decided to build my first computer. I have never built a computer before but I thought it would be fun. I spent so much time watching different YouTube videos and I thought I could do it. My previous computers were not powerful enough to play games such as Valorant or Warzone. I didnt want to spend a ton but I wanted a PC that will be useful for gaming for the next several years with upgrade-ability down the line. It took time picking the parts for the build as I tried to do as much research as I could but once I decided on the parts, I chose Micro Center for the parts as they have absolutely everything. I was excited once I purchased everything but once I bought all the boxes home, I was somewhat worried I would break something and mess up it up royally. But I took my time and went slowly - I mean very slowly. I read each manual and watched more videos. The build took almost an entire day! When I pressed the power button, it worked! I was so excited when I got to the BIOS screen. There were no problems posting and its been running great so far. Im really happy with it and its been running games smoothly!

Since this was my 1st ever PC I went all out & with my cousins help, put all this together. So far it’s been quite the experience. First the picture quality is RIDICULOUS! I’ve personally never experienced gaming with this level of quality. The games I started with were games I bought on sale from steam which included Doom Eternal, Halo Master Chief edition, Blasphemous, Resident Evil 2, & Metro Exodus all which I’ve never played. Since Ghost of Tsushima came out I’ve made 3 YouTube video Walkthroughs so far. Editing is something I really want to do so I’ve been trying to record for the sole purpose of getting comfortable in front of the camera & working through the editing software. My imagination wants to run but my skills aren’t there to match right now but one day. I’m Ivan Estrada in YouTube if anyone wants to look. Thanks for reading!

This is the PC build that Austin Evans put together in his THIRD PERSON PC Build Challenge video. Austin used a custom backpack setup with a drone racing VR headset and a GoPro camera to see himself in third-person! Because the camera is shoulder-mounted, it is a bit unsteady, which adds to the difficulty of assembling this PC. If you're going to build a new PC, we'd recommend trying it first-person before you level up your difficulty like this! These parts were chosen to give Austin the best chance for success. Do you think he succeeded? What do you find most difficult about building your own custom PC? Check out his video below to see if Austin was able to complete this build in third-person!
