I built this because I was stuck with a pretty bad prebuilt PC that was supposed to be just a general-purpose/desktop PC but I added a GTX 1050ti into it in order to play games at decent performance. But games still ran pretty slow and my computer would stutter with too many chrome tabs or chrome and a game open. I finally built this with money saved up in order to have a computer that wouldn't lag, freeze, or give me a hard time in general. It runs practically every shooter (TF2, Fortnite, Valorant, etc.), Ark, GTA V, and other games very well. Newer games like Elden Ring and some other titles require the graphics settings to be lower, but this is because I'm bottlenecked by my 1050ti, as I was unable to get a new graphics card because of the sky-high prices.$1,050.14 -

I built it because at the time I worked for Intel and got discounted CPUs, so figured why not! Only bad part was I got caught right in the middle of the GPU shortages, but I was fortunate to be able to get an RTX 3060 from the EVGA queue when everything was out of stock. I generally play RPG type games (Elder Scrolls) and strategy games (Civilization franchise) and I dabble a bit into shooters, but not much.$1,214.93 -

I primarily do event videography along with portrait photography and I am able to handle 4k footage and all kinds of effects and filters with this PC no problem. I use it mainly for general tasks/browsing, but I also dabble in gaming. I wanted a machine that could handle whatever I threw at it, even though it is overkill for my needs. The GPU powers three monitors, the main monitor being 1440p 144hz, and the other two 1080p 165hz. I plan on keeping this build for the next 2 years, but may fall victim to senselessly upgrading for no good reason. On the rare occasion that I game, I try to maintain above 100fps on whatever I'm playing. I don't mind lowering some settings to achieve that, as I don't play many demanding games. The only thing I'd do differently is get a better case. The airflow is terrible with the glass panel in the front, but the case was easy to build in because of its size. Please excuse the extra PCIe cables, I had used them for a project but am too lazy to remove them in case I need to tinker again :/$1,819.97 -

I managed I splurged on the Lian Li fans because who doesn't love some RGB fans? The GPU was whatever I could get my hands on. I wanted the best AIO cooling system for my CPU and being quiet was something I absolutely needed.
