This was my very first build that got me PC building. Although I have never built a computer after this one (8 YEARS AGO!!),... This was my very first build that got me PC building. Although I have never built a computer after this one (8 YEARS AGO!!), I really appreciate what the experience has really done for me. I was never tech savvy (still am not) and I do not think I never will really feel that way, but after the long nights of researching parts, considering other builder's recommendations, and moments of "WHAT DID I JUST DO!" have made me realize I do not have to be. Taking the blind leap into pc building showed me that 1.its a process, 2. it can be fun, and 3. anyone can do it. Sure, my build isn't the most modern, it has served my needs well and I'm proud of it.$554.43 -

Its main purpose is gaming, 3D modeling in blender, and some video editing in Davinci Resolve so it needed a decent GPU and CPU, and I thought 3600 was great for not being expensive and good performance so I wanted a 2060, but my cousin had upgraded his rig and had a spare 1060 so he gave it to me. Then I went with a b450 board since I had just barely finished high school, only x570 itx was available and b550 were either never in stock or didn't exist yet I don't remember and I wanted to make the most of my limited money. 16GB of ram because it's good for games but does wonders for editing programs.I got a 2tb Hard drive for games thinking it was enough, but two years later it's not.I named it embers of tomorrow because I intend to upgrade it thinking this is the seed that will grow into something stronger and while typing this I am wait for sales to happen to make those upgrades$647.99 -

I will consider upgrading it to a more powerful gpu once everything calms down. I also built this to use in school, which in my opinion, is the most important part about the build. It may not have that much rgb and won’t look the best but I am happy with it, I rather go for practically and performance that visual display because it’s not like I’ll have tons of people coming in my room and checking out the build.$803.92 -
