I wanted to go with a white theme so I could use the RGB to make any color theme I wanted. The upgrade was the same, just keep the majority of the system white in order to maintain the ability to make any color theme I want. It’s a gaming rig most importantly. I enjoy first person shooter games mostly. I’ve played almost the entire far cry series on it. I also enjoy games similar to GTA and Watchdogs as well. The only upgrade I desperately want for it is a GPU. It has a 2070 super currently which is very capable. I would like to put a white card in it of course and at the same time, a 30 series card would be wonderful.

I'm building this pc because I was going to buy a ps5 since my ps4 is outdated but since I couldn't get a ps5 I decided to go for a pc since It will have more then 1 use other than gaming but now I can't get a gpu so I'm just stuck turning it on every day just to admire the rgb and turning it right back off. I probably should've bought the gpu first since I've been contemplating this build since like January. Other than that I love it. It has so much more use than a ps5 and I'll probably have it for longer due to the upgradability of all the components. (Images posted are screen shots from a video I took of the build)

Five years ago I joined the world of building custom gaming PCs with my very first gaming desktop containing a Core i5-4690K and a GTX 960 2GB. Ironically enough this was also my very first time visiting my local Micro Center location about an hour drive away. I knew that this wouldn't be the final form of that system and have been upgrading on a roughly annual basis little by little; new CPU cooler here, new GPU there, real standard stuff. By the end of 2020 AMD and NVIDIA both dropped their massive architecture improvements; namely Zen 3 and Ampere. With my recent paychecks from my new part-time job saved up from Christmas break, I knew I wanted to go all out on upgrades and decided to restart from the ground up to build the ultimate system of my dreams. Behold Eclipse; my Ryzen 9 5900X and RTX 3090 FE gaming and editing PC. Yes I know the CPU and GPU are super hard to get ahold of, I feel you 100%. But let this just be a reminder to not give in to scalpers. The CPU was bought from Micro Center at MSRP and the GPU was bought from a guy looking to trade for an RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT. He dropped the price to $1600 when I offered to meet him halfway so even if I'd have bought this GPU myself, the total would've only been $11 cheaper after tax. Even if he wanted the $1589 the card costed after tax I probably would've brought him $11 worth of food for his troubles anyway haha. I really hope you all like this rig as it was my first build with this magnitude of hardware and I think it turned out fantastic. If you wanna see the build process, I highly recommend you check out the video I made on my YouTube channel which can be found here: https://youtu.be/RJSADalELNg I do a lot of fun PC builds and other PC-tech related stuff on my channel so I'd really appreciate if you took a look. I'd like to thank "Diego M" at the Denver Micro Center who helped me (by complete coincidence) during two different trips a couple of months apart while I was gathering parts for this system. I have named this build "Sign of the Times". When you see the picture and spot the sign, you will understand why! Currently I play a variety of strategy games, such as Endless Space 2, Civilization VI, Rome Total War 2. Also some older first person games such as Tomb Raider. I'd like to play newer first person games as well but that will need to wait (see the previously mentioned sign). Almost all the parts were bought at the Denver Micro Center except for items they simply don't carry.

I built because my friends and family told me I couldn't they said it couldn't be done, O boy did I prove all of them wrong. Not too bad for a counsel player. So with this build I wanted to go above and beyond what my friends who are PC gamers had. So I opted for a 3090 and AMD 5900x along with 64GBs of Gskillz Trident Royal Z. It's safe to say I got the last laugh. With all these rare and hard to find pieces I can probably say that the hardest pieces were the Lian Li SL Unifans as I needed 10 total. I had to wait 3 months to assemble it plus I didnt want to pay scalper prices. The next step is to get matching monitors.

Project Memory has a permanent color combo of blue an pink, in memory of the man who got me into PC gaming back in 1998; my father. His colors were always pink and blue and since his passing in 2015, I've come to adopt those as my colors also. This rig was built as a way for me to honor the passion in which he passed down to me. My game choice is quite different, but the passion is the same. He got me started with Unreal in 1998 and then UT99 in well, 1999. Since then, I've come to enjoy Battlefield, Call of Duty, Valheim, Valorant, The Witcher 3, Fallout and many other games. But every once in a while I will return to those late 1990s classics, and game with some old time friends. With this rig, I will continue to pass down gaming to my children (which my daughter already loves watching me fly in BF4) and to stream. Will be upgrading the case to a Corsair 5000D Airflow, adding 3 more ML120s, and a 2TB SSD for games in the somewhat near future. The case and fans to increase cooling capabilities and the SSD as I have too many games and not enough room. I might also grab an 11th Gen CPU, but I will hold off and see how much of an upgrade it would be and what stock is like. I might also venture into a custom water-cooled solution, but that is a little out of my comfort zone for the time being. I did just upgrade from a Corsair K70 keyboard to a K100 and my god, the difference is immediate and insane. Love the Cherry MX Speed switches, and the G keys are going to be incredibly useful in the near future. So yeah, this is the build. Constantly looking for ways to improve my setup, and I am thinking a mic solution might just be the next investment...or a new desk, as I desperately need one of those too.

Just got a 3070 this last week, so I figured I’d take some updated photos and share. Some of the current games I’m playing now are CoD Black Ops: Cold War, GTAV, RDR2, Valheim, Star Wars: Battlefront II, and Rocket League. For future upgrades, I ordered some more ram so I could have 32GBs. It’s a little overkill, but since it’s tax time, figured I’d splurge a little. I may get some white LED strips in the future as well, but I don’t know where to place them. I like my case, but my only gripe is that the tinting is too dark to see most of the parts without having the lights off. If anyone has an idea on how to brighten up the inside of a Corsair 4000D, please let me know.

By day I'm a cybersecurity expert and consultant so I needed a pc to handle that type of work. I'm also a big time gamer that wants to do some streaming and content creation on the side. In short, I wanted this to be a multipurpose rig that can do regular office work, gaming, and streaming a few times a week. I mostly play Super Smash Bros Ultimate competitively and PUBG or Warzone when I want to just chill with friends. Currently I have just started my Instagram for my own tech and gaming brand (@Roczgaming). My vision is to grow this name as its own brand where my team can create some outreach within our community through gaming. Provide an outlet and means for kids to network if they want to get into this industry, IT, or development and just be an overall cool thing to be a part of.

I've since added a Samsung 1TB 2.5" SSD, replaced the GPU & PSU, and transplanted the components into a Corsair 465X iCUE RGB Gaming Case. I love building custom computers when I decided to take on this project. Back when the Iron Man movies came out I was thinking about how I would come up with a plan on how I would build this. Well after a ton of brain storming and a couple failed ideas I had a solid plan. This build took about 80 hours (Custom Priming / Painting and metal work)

So I saved up and built this. I do everything on this now, everywhere from watching lectures to working on large CAD files and playing games. I've been playing games that I can play with my friends, like Valorant, Phasmophobia, GTA, Rainbow 6 Siege and such. For these games, the 1660 Super can handle 1440 pretty well, so for my first build, I'm very satisfied. In hindsight, I think getting a 20 series card would've been nice, especially for 1440p gaming, but a lot of the budget went to the monitor (which I like very much and I can't even look at the laptop display now) and getting a worse monitor for a better graphics card wouldn't make much sense. Also, getting a semi-modular/modular PSU would've been a good idea. I think I cable-managed pretty well, but it wasn't exactly the easiest. The single RGB fan came with the case, and that is the only RGB part outside the little strip that comes on the Aorus mobo. I put it on the back as it's the only place I can see the lights from
