  Purchased the 12600KF, MSI Z-790 Pro D4, 16GB DDR4 bundle from MC. Then was able to get other parts for a pretty good price.... Purchased the 12600KF, MSI Z-790 Pro D4, 16GB DDR4 bundle from MC. Then was able to get other parts for a pretty good price. The only thing I needed to buy used was the 3060 Ti Founders edition, which I found for only 150 on my local marketplace, thought it was a pretty good deal and will be playing mainly in 1080p anyways.

  This build is my new daily driver. This is replacing a 2018 Acer Predator Helios 300 that in turn replaced a gaming desktop... This build is my new daily driver. This is replacing a 2018 Acer Predator Helios 300 that in turn replaced a gaming desktop build from 2014. I typically refresh my builds in 5 year cycles, turning the last piece of hardware into a server. The 2014 desktop is still going strong as a server and the laptop died, so I'm hoping this build lasts another 5 years. The H9 case is beautiful, but not as easy to work with as I'd hoped. There are a lot of parts, and it can be a pain to get the cable bar on and off. Overall, I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

I quickly decided that my GPU is going to be RTX 4070 Super because it's the best value for the performance right now. Once I decided what GPU to get, everything else fell into place from there. Super happy with everything so far. Heavy Cinebench stress tests don't push my CPU temperature over 70 degrees and noise levels stay down.
