I was able to get a 5700x3d + 32gb ram and upgraded it from a 5600x and 16gb ram. The GPU is perfect for what I need at 1440p.

I can tell you there is no better feeling than being able to run and game at the highest setting with a constant+100 fps . I to plan on swapping to cooler and case fans when I grow out of a full RGB case .

  After gathering together a bunch of used, open-box and good deals on parts; I built my mom this computer. After my mom saw... After gathering together a bunch of used, open-box and good deals on parts; I built my mom this computer. After my mom saw my other builds and flips I put together, she wanted to get one. She is a beginner to PC gaming and I thought this computer would be a solid one for her needs. Rocking the old but glorious GTX 1070, it handles any games you throw at it at 1080p high settings. For reference, I got it to run Forza Horizon 5 at 1080p ultra with medium ray tracing when testing, and it got a respectable 80fps avg. Overall really impressed with the performance of this pc. For the parts, I got the i5 8600 for free out of a 2019 iMac that I recently upgraded to an i9 9900. Stock cooler came with the i9, and I got the motherboard on Amazon brand new. The 16gb of ram, I picked up on marketplace for $15. I scored the GTX 1070 for only $75 after talking the seller down. The SSD was brand new from Microcenter and the Case and PSU were open-box deals.

If I were building this again I would use a different AIO, I used the one in my build as I already had it but since it is a thick radiator it requires the use of slim fans.
